I needed a custom design with specific dimensions and features developed out of clear and opaque acrylic. Emco Industrial Plastics was able to complete this project exactly to my liking. Lovely experience. Great customer service, turnaround times, and prices. Amazing custom work. Robert is the best to work with. Very patient, informative, honest and understanding. Everything you can ask for when doing business with a company. I will definitely order with them again.
Our company has multiple restaurants in NJ and we needed polycarbonate screens due to the pandemic. These dining screens are placed in between tables for customer safety. We purchased these screens but unfortunately ruined the finish with a cleaning agent that scratched the units and also left a clouded haze on them. I found Emco Industrial Plastics in Cedar Grove, NJ, and spoke to Robert Levin about my issue. I needed to replace the polycarbonate material and brought one of the units for Robert to see. Robert was able to fabricate the items for me and add the holes for the legs to be attached. The pricing was great and it was done in a timely manner. I am happy with the product and will certainly recommend Emco Industrial Plastics. Thanks Robert for helping me out of a jam!
Emco Plastics was great from initial design to completion. It saved our company a ton of time with the work that they did. We found them after our usual plastics company closed down. We will be using Emco Plastics going forward.
I am an owner of a small manufacturing facility in north jersey & when my previous material supplier relocated south, EMCO came recommended by my machinist. Upon reaching out to them, I made contact with Robert Levine. Robert worked with me to determine what type of material I was in need of and was even able to offer cutting, I previously had to take material elsewhere to have edge put on, which was very convenient. I highly recommend EMCO ask for Robert as they are knowledgeable, cost competitive, stand by their word and their products. Will definitely repeat business.
Although I was not sure where to go when prototyping my new products, I called various companies including a rep for China that handles many products like mine. Emco was by far and away the easiest to work with. As with anything, having clear and precise blueprints and outlines made it simple to communicate. As this other reviewer comments, it is easy to have items cut improperly or holes placed in the wrong location, IF you do not present a company with proper documentation. I WISH I didn't have to pay for all my proper blueprinting and design, but it cost me many thousands more than what he was stating. Hey buddy, it's a bargain, snatch it up! Emco helped procure the best plastic for my product which was meant to operate under volatile temperatures. Emco also had this covered and even helped me understand the basic principles and properties I should be looking for. Although they cost more than using an overseas supplier, I'm really happy to work with these guys. Mark and Jim were especially helpful. Thanks guys!
I need some plastic sheet cut to size for a personal project. They gave me a reasonable price and quick turnaround despite it being such a minor project for them. Very happy.
Our company, The New Motor, has worked with Robert at Emco on multiple projects with very high degrees of precision and relatively tight timelines. They have cut and assembled some very difficult work for us. We have always been impressed by their professionalism and capabilities.
I purchase all types of plastic from Emco for my glass shop. They do great work, their prices are very fair, and they are very accomodating. They are definitely my go to place for projects big and small.
I would suggest staying away from this company. If they had a zero star I would give it to them. We were quoted and promised a product which met the grade of plastic we asked for and required minimal cutting. Basically a flat sheet in a rectangle of a specific size with corners rounded. I brought out prototypes for each piece and talked with Amy the sales rep. in person. She never questioned their ability to do what we needed and promissed it would be good. What we got was an inferior grade of plastic which had mounting holes we didn't ask for and corners that were close to 90 degrees. Amy ran from the project even after admitting they had used the wrong material, added cuts which weren't required and cut the corners wrong. Bill the owner, ended up asking us to pay $400 for each "engineered drawing". I almost choked when I heard this. Then he requoted us at 175% the original quote per piece. The difference in cost for the raw material was less than $40 dollars a sheet and they wanted us to pay more than $100 for the large pieces and as much as $2000 for the small pieces. No extra labor versus the original quote? Just bad business and price gouging! Stay away they will bait and switch you!
I have done business with EMCO for over 20 years. They do great work. They are reasonable people. And they are a pleasure to work with because they are knowledgeable, competent and most importantly, cooperative. Great company to work with.
