Hard ticket to get in, but worth the wait. Not only one of my favorite Italian restaurants in NYC, it is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I always thought the veal parm was their best thing, until Chef Anthony came up with the vodka sauce/peas parm chop. Lights out
The food was really good but the wait without a reservation in a cold New York night was insane. It took us more than an hour to get seated while waiting us though I’d say it was worth it. Next time I’d be more strategic about when to show up/reserve in advance if possible
The small basket of sourdough bread was soft and chewy on the inside, while staying crispy and fresh on the outside. The bread is delicious on its own too. I poured some oil olive and balsamic vinegar together for dipping.
Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Very intimate space with an air of timelessness. Only seats 18 people but if you get out there during the COVID era you might have an easy time finding a table. Owner sits at a table right in front and is a very warm, gregarious gentleman. The spaghetti and meatballs were incredible.
Delicious food and very fast service, I'm a local here and I wish I could go more then I do about once a week
Incredible food!!! Chicken Parm was the best I’ve ever eaten!!
We both ordered a white sauce pasta but I requested to change the type of pasta to gnocchi and I was not let down! So glad I chose to swap for gnocchi and keep the white sauce.
