I would not recommend this program to those looking for WLS. Minimal help from the team with scheduling/follow up appointments and continuous nutritional counseling is not part of the program. You only have one appointment following surgery and are left on your own after that. Very disappointed at the lack of support.

The surgery, and shorter term results, were good. Unfortunately now, a few years later, there is a question of bile retention due to how the stomach was re-shaped during surgery. This idea of shape is simply a suggestion by another specialist, and only one opinion, but bile retention is no joke, so it is an unfortunate thought.

I had WLS in 2012 when my BMI was 40+ and I was a size XXL. I lost 100 lbs within the first year and my BMI has been below 22 ever since. Highly recommended.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Patterson and she was so kind and really put my fears to rest!! I’ve never had a doctor before that didn’t make me feel like I was a fat mess until now!!! I look forward now to going to the doctor!!! Thanks again, Dr. Patterson!!

Emma is a full professional, she is to the point and you know what to expect. I had not ONE complication. Dont regret it for a second. You will not be disappointed by using DR Patterson.

I had Dr. Patterson for my VSG surgery. She is very professional and my surgery went very well. I will and have recommended her to others.

This doctor is under investigation and I would not recommend seeing her.
