I'm a male and I go there to get my hair braided and sometimes my beard cut, some people complain about having bad experiences but you have to remember they are learning no they do not know exactly what they're doing if you want an experience hairdresser go to a salon this is a training school yes they may mess up sometime they're training you don't walk into bootcamp knowing what you're doing, their training the same way when you went to your job and did not know what you were doing you probably sucked but their training you can't learn how to do things correctly on a mannequin doll you have to practice on a real person and I never let them do something that I know I can not fix myself I let them do the things that I know if they do mess up that I can fix it. all my experiences been good plus I go in there with a positive attitude I don't want the student who's working on my head to feel nervous because I'm acting all tense I want them to feel relaxed and confident so I go in there with a positive attitude with them I don't make them feel like if they mess up the whole world's goin to come to a end if that's the way you feel go to a regular Salon not a training school

Was considering enrolling, but changed my mind after touring the school. Not everyone appreciates rap music (me), and I found it distracting. There's no way I'd be able to focus or learn in that atmosphere. The instructors seemed knowledgeable, though.

If I could give a negative I would.I went in for a simple gel mani and pedi ...came out with destroyed nails....Word of caution a establishment says they can do a service make sure they can...lesson learned.

I was recently there for cut and color. 2 whole hours for the color, 1 hour for the cut. Way too long, the student was soo very slow and she didn't know how to cut my hair at all. The teacher did the whole hair cut because it was taking the student much too long. This was not my first time in experiencing a student who didn't know how to cut hair. One time I had one side shorter than the other. Are they in the salon too soon? They have no confidence because they do not know what they are doing. Why are they in the salon if they don't know how to block the hair and follow the guide correctly. I do not recommend going for hair cut at all. I will return for color, I just cant expect to leave before 2 hours.

Since getting a short cut I've struggled with finding someone who could cut my hair and do what I asked and not what that thought would look good. I grew tired of paying more than $50 for a 'seasoned' stylist to mess up my cut. So, i figured if I'm going to get a 'not so great cut' I might as well go to the school and not pay an arm and a leg. Although I was skeptical I went in and was given to Crystal. Much to my amazement, she did an EXCELLENT job. She actually listened to what I wanted and it looks WONDERFUL. I scheduled my next appointment before leaving and fully intend on following her where ever she goes. And of course, you can't beat the price!
