Encore Flight School

Be Careful!!! The owner is Alex Abbassi. He seems nice, but don't do the same mistake as I did. The guy lies non-stop. First when I asked if there was any accidents he said non: A plane desappeared 2-3 years ago with a client and instructor, also I have heard another crash was made. When I asked him why he did not tell me the truth he was all smitten and you could believe him. But I did not!! Also he gives you a contract for $7100 or $12000, and then you never finish with that amount I ended up paying$16,500 and did not even reach the cross country or written test. The guy do double charges. Don't go there. Also he has no respect to the customer once he realizes you do not trust him. He talks really trashy. Also I booked some classes and no instructor showed up after even 1 hour. After you have made the payment to the contract Alex will not take care of you anymore. Don't sign up there are other companies much better!! Also education wise they are very poor and we realize they are making mistakes. Very Bad Company!!!!

What an amazing experience! Everyone must try it. Fantastic cusomter service. These guys are pros at what they do! Special Thank you to our pilot Bryan for making our flight more memorable!

As one of the local examiners that refuses to do check rides for Encore students put it, “Encore is a disgrace to the aviation community”. This pretty much sums them up. They have a terrible reputation at Van Nuys airport and is the worst flight school in the area. Their airplanes are junk, poorly maintained, and unsafe. If you are considering this scam of a school, do your due diligence. The president is a professional liar that has only one motive, to rip-off the student in any way possible. He has had his pilot license and teaching certificate revoked because of his illegal activities.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this corrupt operation like the plague, otherwise, you are doing nothing but putting your life and finances at risk. Package deals from this "school" are nothing but a scam. If you pay any money up front, you're just throwing your money away. Look up Encore Flight Corporation on Unicourt. Check the BBB site and also look for news articles about them. This place is dangerous in every way.
