The plane was well maintained, all systems and equipment was functional. CFI Cris is super nice and gave us a good check ride and trip over to Catalina island. He is knowledgeable and competent dealing with radio workload and SoCal procedures.

I'm an A380 captain who regularly flies in to LA and when I'm there I always try and do some flying at Aces High. Paul and the team have set up a great operation, the training is very good and they have an excellent range of aircraft to hire. Paul is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly which combined with the Socal weather and the reasonable prices make for a great flying experience. If you're lucky enough to live in LA or are visiting then I really recommended Aces High.

Best "One-on-One" instructional piloting flight training; you are in control; a compromise between your instructor's professional judgment/ decision and yourself, when to cut the umbilical without the flight instructor present when you are ready.

One of the most incredible days of my life! (…so far) Flying a plane for the first time can be a daunting experience but the staff at Aces High Aviation were brilliant, friendly and professional; all the nerves had disappeared by the time I sat in the cockpit. The humble facilities make you feel at home as soon as you arrive and are very clean and organised; everything is geared to ensure you have a great experience and day! An awesome experience delivered by an awesome team, thank you Aces High Aviation for an unforgettable day!

I've been flying here the last couple of years and I have to say they have a great operation and you wont find a better place to learn to fly. With the move to their new facility they have huge potential to grow and a vast fleet of airplanes to get a huge chunk of your pilot training done. You wont find another flight school as transparent as ace's when it comes to their prices and fleet maintenance. but the biggest draw is everyone is there for the same reason, to learn and gain experience in this industry.
