I’ve been dealing with stomach issues for a few months now and was finally able to get in for an endoscopy. From the moment I checked in for my procedure until the moment I left, everyone on staff was super professional and caring. I had a little bit of anxiousness as I waited to be taken back, however the staff did a great job of helping me feel at ease. The nurses and anesthesiologists I interacted with had fantastic bedside manner. They were kind, they explained what they were going to do, and they made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire visit. Dr. Pasricha was fabulous as well. She was very welcoming and she also made me feel at ease before my procedure began. I am very appreciative to the team here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!
The staff are very attentive and helpful. They made sure all my questions were answered and I was as comfortable as possible. However, I rated it lower because the prep/recovery area is one big room/space separated with curtains so it had the feel of a ward and you can hear all the adjacent conversations with patients. Separate rooms would feel more private and personal. Also, the curtain in my area #10 was stained with blood which was off-putting. But overall everything with the procedure and medical staff was great.
The staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. They told me everything I needed to know about my procedure. The pla e was clean. I liked the fact you had your own curtain. I also liked the fact that you get on the bed to go into the room rather than walking in. After the procedure they walk you to your driver's car. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you
Staff were great. Very efficient and courteous. Receptionist did advise me when checking in, that they were running behind. Might be as much as 2 hour delay. But waited more like 30 minutes past appointment time before being called to the back room. Nurses and anesthesiologist moved quickly to get me ready for the doctor. I had a endoscopy and colonoscopy. I highly recommend the center.
The medical staff was extremely kind and professional, and I am assuming thorough and accurate. The schedulers are not. I was told I would be called within three days of the doctors referral. I was not. When I called the center at the end of day 3 I was told I had been called. Since the number they claimed was called was my cell phone, I would have had a record of the calls had they in fact occurred. Additionally, the day after my procedure, I felt quite unwell. I called the phone number in the text I had received. No items on the menu were for patients to call if they had an issue. After a few unsuccessful calls I finally spoke to a person who put me through to a ‘coordinator’ voice mail which guaranteed a 48 hour call back!! The doctor did call back within a few hours and I was quite relieved since, based on the message, I had little confidence this would happen. People who come to your center have medical issues which should be handled with promptness, compassion and courtesy. For future GI issues I will request that my doctor refer me to alternative centers.
As soon as I walked in, the staff was helpful and friendly. The nurses in the back were very attentive. I loved the physician who did the procedure, Dr Long. She filled me in on the findings and called my daughter as well. As a nurse I can truly say that it was a great experience.
The preparation staff were excellent. They were professional and made me feel at ease. The staff within the operating room were incredible. The only experience I didn’t care for was during checkout. I saw my medication list on my chart and asked for it back. I was told it was your copy. I guess she assumed since I had had anesthesia that I wasn’t coherent enough to know. Even though I asked my doctor if there was any erosion of the esophagus post procedure, and spoke of the follow up appointment. I understand the the need to move patients out of the area after their testing. The Sit Up, Here’s Your Juice, and Get Out method was a bit rushed. I highly doubt a 5’ 2 nurse could have stopped my 200 pound frame from going down during my walk to the car where my wife was waiting if there were a problem.
I received exceptional care from the time I arrived until I was walked out the door. The procedures were done quickly and the place ran like a well oiled machine. Special thanks to Dr. Long and everyone that had anything to do with my care on that day.
My experience was a comfortable one. I was handled with care . Dr. DePalma did a thorough job communicating and handling my procedure. The entire staff was great and very attentive. The atmosphere is exactly what you want to experience when you visit a doctor's office or a medical facility.
Endoscopy Center of Delaware is wonderful. I was treated so very well from the moment I entered the building. Everyone made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Very professional and friendly. After the colonoscopy prep I know that when I enter the Endoscopy Center of Delaware they will take over and the experience will be relaxed and comfortable. They explain everything. Everyone that takes care of you informs you of who they are and what they do. Everyone does their job very well from the moment you enter the building until you are escorted to your driver and car at the end of your procedure.
