We were here for a special event so the menu had already been decided for us. It was eclectic and quite good, though I'd like to go back when I can order off the menu. It is a smaller restaurant and our special event sold the place out, so it was packed in there, making it very, very warm. I'm unable to speak to the number of patrons on a regular day/night. Enzo himself spoke to the entire restaurant several times and made it sound like he is frequently in his own dining room. He was gracious, friendly and obviously happy to be there. He was a reason I would go back. It's great to see a business owner who is so excited about what he does.
Great service and food! We got the salmon bruschetta app, prociutto arugula pizza & vodka penne. We will be back!
Elana was excellent as our server. Perfect weather to sit outside. The patio is loud with traffic, but we didn't mind. I think the calamari was from frozen, but the sauces were good. We didn't get our salads. The ravioli was average , good sauce. The lasagna was very good. The chocolate chip cannoli was very yummy. Good wine and beer.
Service was slow, but it was full inside and we chose to sit outside. The food was great, had the meatball appitizer and my only complaint was that I'd wished the white sauce had been their fantastic Alfredo. The rolls were hot and delicious, and the butter I'm guessing was a tomato basil butter? Was a nice touch. My lasagna was perfect, huge and cheesy, and smothered in sauce, and when I have it again, I'll be sure to get Alfredo over the whole thing instead of half and half with red sauce. My girl's pasta with clams was pretty good, but the sauce was more mushroom wine gravy than creamy, but still good flavors.
Great authentic Italian food. I ordered the beef tips and it was the most tender I've ever had - fresh, full bodied, and huge servings. Very reasonably priced food and wine. $16 for most meals which also comes with salad or soup and bread. I also had exceptional service throughout the meal. Definitely worth it to check out.
Edit 9/30/18 - We stopped by to give this place one more try, and they were closed, despite their website and Google both saying they were open. It was just another negative experience, and we won't be back. Original Review: Their pizzas are amazing, and the appetizers and drinks we tried were impressive. You won't be disappointed by the food. That said, their seating was frustrating. We did not have a reservation, but there were 8 tables of various sizes empty, plus more outside. We were told that the wait was going to be an hour and a half unless we sat at the bar. We sat at the bar, but those tables remained empty for the next 30-45 minutes. Eventually some couples were seated at a few of them, but they came without reservations like us. I'd suggest revising whatever policy left half of the restaurant empty, as it would have been preferable to sit at a table.
I had the Chicken Dana, a spicy dish with peppers, onions and of course, chicken,. Roasted potatoes on the side. Very good. With the entrees you get a choice of soup or salad, I went with the Caesar Salad, surprisingly enough they ask if you want anchovies, most places won't even offer/carry them in my experience. The prices are in line with a better quality restaurant, most entrees were $20-30, salads $5-10 and appetizers $5-20. They have a good wine list, as well as serving cocktails. They have weekly/nightly specials, your server will tell you about them. We went for a family event on a Friday night, I'd say that reservations are a must if you want a table without a long wait, it was crowded the whole two and a half hours we were there. Parking on the street is limited, and traffic can be an issue. I didn't see a parking lot for this place, so you might have to park on a side street and walk a little.
Food was superb! We ate their Eggplant Parmesan with an Italian house salad preceding it. Presentation was excellent. The service was prompt and thankfully, not stuffy. The only thing it lacked was the proper muted background music. Honestly, Enzo knows his food.. I would have given him a 4.9999, if such a rating was allowed The decor was superb. I loved the ceiling tiles and the fireplace that actually gave off real warmth. If you don't care about the music, you would give it a 5.
Was looking for a nice Italian restaurant and we were recommended Enzo's. Although the food was good, the chicken parmigiana sandwich was shy on meat and heavy on the breading. Chicken alfredo was very good. For the price we felt the Olive Garden would have been better . Service could have been better, always a chance we hit a spot in the day they didn't have the A game?
Love the original location in North Omaha. Very cute cozy restaurant great for a date or family night. Love the bread. Great pasta! Lots of amazing drinks. It was too cold to sit outside when I went but it looks like it would be a lot of fun in the summer.
