Sgt Peffers Cafe Italian

Very unassuming exterior but wow! Last night I had my first experience at Sgt Peffers and it did not disappoint! We order the New Yorker minus the anchovies because l'm a chicken and it was everything! The toppings were so delicious and the cheese was perfection. Not to mention the amazing crust...Most definitely homemade! Unfortunately, I did not get a photo because we were all so hungry! If you haven't put this pizza spot on your list yet, add it! If you're visiting Omaha, and you're hungry for pizza that tastes homemade, I would highly recommend!

I love this place! My favorite is the meat ball sub! They also have great pizza & other dishes too. Wait is not usually too long. I call ahead & pick up in drive through. Lunch specials are the best! Friendly, helpful staff. Small inside, but still has numerous seating available to eat in. Deliveries are done through food delivery services example: door dash.

Went here and got the Italian Sampler sampler of baked pasta and it was AMAZING! The red sauce was perfect, the cheese mixture was very creamy and good, and the meat was seasoned perfectly. Honestly it was the best pasta I’ve had. Plus it came with a salad/soup and roll! Perfect amount to share with someone. Will definitely come back!!Recommended dishesSoup of the Day

In the pic is TEN DOLLAR chicken bacon and Swiss! $10.00. On a hotdog bun that was supposed to be toasted by was too hard to eat. Half of a half piece of provolone cheese. One and a half pieces of bacon and I think there was chicken on there. I ordered onions but didn’t get them. But take a look at the pic. That’s a $10.00 sandwich. On a hotdog bun. I also ordered their bbq meatballs and they were drowning in bbq sauce. The only things that were ok to eat, was the small - very small side of potato salad and the pizza bread. Two slices - 3 pieces of pepperoni on each slice and cheese. But seriously, just take a look at their $10.00 sandwich. HOTDOG BUN wasn’t edible. So I had the contents of the bun. For $10.00 Ordered through door dash. Will never order again from it go into. Used to go in once a week a couple years back and slowly, it’s started to become just another place to eat. But hey, they have a sandwich they put on a hotdog bun…. For $10.00

I love this place - especially on Fridays when they have chicken Florentine soup! We've been working our way through their menu for some time, and never been disappointed. Dine in and enjoy the fun Beatles decor, or get it to go and enjoy some great pasta or pizza at home. No bad choices!Food: 4/5

Nothing really special about this place, terrible customer service. I ordered food to pick up. When I got there I told them my name and the guy at the front desk went to the kitchen came back and said it’s not ready yet which is not a big deal but I wanted to know how long it will take and I asked him : He said I don’t know … ‍‍ ‍like you work there man come on and he added I don’t work in kitchen. I told him can you ask them then … He said I can and started staring at me ‍ He finally came back and said 10 mins, again its still ok to wait but the way that these people handle things are not ok… They said 10 mins but I waited more than 15 mins, after 15 mins another lady came and ask if I needed help, I told her that I am waiting for my food…. She went to the kitchen just like the other guy , came back and told me that it’s not ready yet it will take ANOTHER 10-15 MINUTES. First time trying it and not planning to try again , very unprofessional staff. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS

Met up with 3 friends and was pleased with everything. Gentlemen manning the front did an awesome job considering a larger table wasn't ordering at the same time like we did which caused a bit of confusion about the check/order. He handled it so well. Food was delicious & a staff member even took the time to take our picture when asked. We really appreciated it!

An old standard in the old neighborhood, they're adaptation of Italian food is pretty darn good. Prices are reasonable and the service is quick. The venue is not too large but it's certainly comfortable and well maintained. They're Quattro from Maggio Pizza is exceptionalFood: 4/5

We had fairly a large group for a family birthday. We needed two tables pulled together in which this establishment is pretty small in size. The gentleman behind the counter was able to assist us in this. We were seated next to a utility door? We weren't sure. All we know is it was very tight and cramped for 9 people, and they had a pile of boxes and Christmas decorations lodged in the corner preventing us from being able to freely move in and out of our seats, as you have to when going up to order. We all ordered separately and were able to taste an array of menue items. This was my family's first time here. Orders were taken by a friendly young lady behind the counter. We enjoyed several items we ordered: mozzarella sticks, baked chicken artichoke lasagna was excellent. They had a "spicy" Italian chili that was delicious. We ordered their garlic bread and cheese bread with a side of Alfredo and red sauce. If we could go back , we wouldn't definitely not get those two items again, as they were regular pieces of white bread oven toasted something I'd make at home on a low budget anyways, their salads were insanely big and yummy. And their side salads were very fresh. One thing that we would have enjoyed better was getting our food at the same time. This was the only thing that really threw a damper on our outing. We had 3 families there and my family who ordered all at the same time was served our meals all separately 4 to 5 minutes aaprt and my daughter age 7 was served almost 10 minutes after we got our food. Very hard on a young one who's hungry and watching mommy and daddy eat. Thankfully, the appetizers were enough. Oh, and can't forget the fresh rolls!! They were the best part!! The prices were great too. The vibe /decor was cool. We would definitely eat here again. Parking: Small parking lot and side parking on the street is available but 4 cars and your parking up the street. Wheelchair accessibility: Doesn't seem like a large enough establishment to even allow a wheelchair to fit.

I remember my grandmother taking me here as an excited child. My past few visits however have destroyed those wonderful memories. You pay before you get the food... Because there is no way you'd tip after the meal... Service is non-existent. You want something, you go to the counter and wait. There was literally 1 paper menu that the couple before us dropped on the floor and picked back up... Then we had to use it. Oh did i mention it was winter and literally every customer through the door stops in that spot and the floor was absolutely disgusting? The salad was like a bag salad with a cucumber slice and 2 dried out baby carrots with a pouch of ranch dressing. The mushroom beef soup was good... But the rest of the food was pretty gross. I ordered the linguini with Italian sausage.. i received a combination of linguini and penne with about a tablespoon of sauce and a cold sliced up sausage with more cheese than sauce.. my wife ordered the spaghetti with Bolognese... And received a pint of sauce on about a 2 ounce bed of spaghetti... I can honestly say that i am over sgt peffers. There are far better and more flavorful Italian restaurants in town...
