Equinox SoHo

Front desk is not friendly very rude! I wouldn’t never recommend this gym! And on top of everything they speak Spanish in front of me. It’s American not Mexico. How do I know what do they say? Maybe they are talking nasty about me! Rude

I had a great time trying out this location before dinner. Staffs were nice. Diverse group of members. Will come back if I'm in Soho *I have no choice but to edit my review and respond to a deplorable reviewer by the name of Nadia S. I am not an equinox employee. Her hateful and disgusting attitude has no place at Equinox. 1. Nadia S: "they speak Spanish in front of me." Seriously?! So what! You're working out in SoHo. It's in the middle of a bubble with a diverse group of people speaking different languages. 2. Nadia S: "It’s American not Mexico." Are you an idiot? Learn to write proper English! Second, America welcomes people of all ethnicities and people who speaks different languages. Third, there's more than one country that speaks Spanish. Puerto Rico's primary language is Spanish. Puerto Rico is one of our American territories. This is why you're ignorant and uneducated. 3. Nadia S: "How do I know what do they say? Maybe they are talking nasty about me! Rude" Who cares! Grow up!! Take out your phone and ask Google, Siri or Alexa to translate. The only rude person here is you, Nadia. Furthermore, your English is worst than my 5yo son. Nadia...I've read your other reviews. Your therapist is probably right on the $...you are a crazy psycho.

Worst Service and only want your money! I was looking for a gym for the time being (my visa is ending end of May and I am leaving to Europe which I told him) I am here in New York and got this very friendly advisor named Jonathan at soho. He sold me a membership telling me I could cancel and Freeze at any time and don’t have to pay. Well, he lied. Now I am here, freezed my membership which is 12 months membership (yes I trusted him) and equinox charges me for June but freezes my membership from 1th of June too. However, a gym with a 260$ a month should take care of their members and don’t lie to them and don’t steal money from them! Never had this bad service experience as Europe (where I am from) have real customer care service without lying to their members! Disappointed and won’t ever recommend to my friends around the globe.

This gym is so fancy! They have a great sitting area for people who want to work on their computers or lounge around. It doesn't feel like there's a million people at the gym. You get to leave the craziness of SoHo for just a bit.
