Story

Escape Games PDX will give you and your friends, family, co-workers and everyone else you want to challenge, a chance to be a real-life detective or secret agent, at least for an hour. You will have 60 minutes to find the clues, crack the codes, and solve the puzzles in order to successfully escape the room and claim victory! You don't have to be a genius, you just have to look, listen, communicate and with a little logic and brainpower, you just might outsmart the room.

This was so much fun! It was great team building! Zach was great, made us laugh. He knew exactly when we needed a hint. Great host! We actually got out of Amnesia with less than a minute left! We were pretty proud of ourselves. I would come back again.
Such a fun freaking way to spend time with friends or family! Such a great way to bond and have a great time! Megan was incredible, so friendly and helpful. She helped give us the perfect hints to finish in time! She also matched our energy for excitement which was so great because it was our first time! I know portlandia may look boring on the website, but don't be fooled it was SO much fun! You won't regret it. A good challenge for us beginners!
So much fun! My husband and I love coming here for date nights! The rooms are creative and challenging and is reasonably priced esp when rebooting after a visit...you get 20 percent off your next visit. Jane was our room master and was fabulous! Warm, welcoming and generous with our time at the end when we were frantically trying to finish : Hope to have Jane again next time!
Escape Games PDX was super fun and the perfect level of competitiveness. My group went into the Prison Heist room and there was a good amount of head scratching but it was even more rewarding when we were able to beat a puzzle and get closer to winning the objective. Quinn was our Game Master and she was super nice and very helpful when we needed the support. She also brought a comfortable and friendly vibe to the environment!
Wow! What a fun holiday experience. Game master Megan’s energy was fantastic and got everyone hyped up for our hour-long journey into saving Christmas cheer. The unlimited hints were very helpful and definitely necessary for finishing our room. Would absolutely recommend and would come here again!
L O V E D the Prison Heist escape room! Our game master, Zach, was high energy and very helpful although without giving up any answers directly, which made our experience that much more fun. The puzzles were creative and well thought out. My partner and I enjoyed the non-linear aspect and how everything eventually came together. It was just the two of us and we escaped with only FOUR seconds left!! Yeah. We’re basically professionals :o
This was a great escape room! Unfortunately, with the 3 of us, we didn’t escape and were far from the end but the puzzles were fun. I enjoyed that it wasn’t a linear escape room and we were able to work on individual puzzles but it would have been easier with a bigger group. Quinn was our game master and gave great hints and talked us through the rest of it after we ran out of time. Overall, would definitely come back to do another one here.
The escape room experience was awesome! We did it with two families together 7 of us. The puzzles were challenging for sure but not so much that you wanted to kill each other lol. Our Game Master Megan was amazing as well. Highly recommend it to everyone looking for a cool experience.
Had a blast with my sister during our Portland trip for my birthday. We did Prison Heist. At first we were worried that we might not get out with just the two of us, but we escaped with 24 minutes to spare! Zach was a great Puzzle Master! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun way to spend an hour.
This is our second room that we have experienced here. The room was well themed with interesting puzzles to solve. The only suggestion that I have would be is to insulate/reduce the sound from the adjacent room. The group was easily heard and it was distracting and it made it difficult to concentrate and hear one of our audible clues. Zach was awesome and the most enthusiastic and engaged host we have ever had! He sincerely enjoys his job.
