In Search Of An Exit Escape Rooms

Had a wonderful time at In Search of an Exit for our work teambuilder! The game masters were very fun and entertaining while the rooms were challenging and intricate. It is a little confusing to find, but trust your instincts! You are probably in the right place, don't be afraid to go inside. Big thanks to both gentlemen for being wonderful hosts!

Hey, you. Yup, YOU. You’re reading these reviews because you’re looking for a fun, unique and challenging escape room. Well, stop now because your search is over. From entering the location, to getting your spiel and most importantly the room itself, it’s all a joy. The Lombino Casino was singular. So many puzzles to sort through and not an inch of wasted space. The puzzles flow and there’s just enough within the room to get immersed and make those all important “AHA!!” clicks feel well earned. DO. NOT. SLEEP. ON. THIS. GEM!

I came here with a group of 4 and we had an amazing time. It was my first escape room in Portland and it exceeded all expectations. The game was well thought out and it’s hints and props were great. The host was engagingly, helpful, and fun. Having barely escaped Lombino’s casino- I can’t wait until the next themed room opens!

Had an AMAZING time at the escape room today. Truly immersive and wonderful. Only had 2 players so we appreciated the guidance at times. Absolutely recommend.

This is one of my top escape room experiences. From the very beginning my husband and I were in awe of how the escape room arrival began. We did the casino room and this was one of the few escape rooms where the style of the puzzles were challenging but not to the point of frustration when we couldn’t figure out how to progress in the game. The clues we received were the perfect amount of assistance to nudge us in the right direction without completely revealing the puzzle nor still leaving us confused. The room was so immersive and the game master really added to the experience. We can’t wait to return with a group of four to do their other room.

By far the BEST escape room I’ve ever been to Lombino’s Casino. Even the entrance to the escape room is unique and secretive. The game master was funny and energetic. The 80’s theme was immersed throughout. The escape room puzzles and clue system was creative. Might be best to do at least a couple escape rooms though before booking this one so you can truly appreciate how next level it is. Unexpectedly the highlight of my weekend trip to Portland!

Highest quality escape rooms I've seen. The amazing part is that the game begins before you even enter the building, but I won't spoil anything. I played both rooms and had two different game masters that were extremely enthusiastic and made the games super fun! The Operation Gryaznayavoda one was especially brilliant, but make sure you have a large group cause it's tough. Can't wait for this crew to make a new room :

This was definitely one of the best escape room experiences I’ve had in the city!! Also, the company has clear space accessibility and COVID-19 precaution info! Both were tremendously appreciated by my group and made it an easy choice when we made the booking. My friends and I did the Lombino’s Casino over the weekend and it was a blast. The immersion starts the moment you get to the building. The game host was super fun and enthusiastic and the puzzle design was clever and challenging! We had a party of 6 and everyone got to have their own “AHA!” moment - super gratifying. We all had an absolute blast. I’m so stoked that this was, for some in my group, their first escape room experience. The In Search Of an Exit team really set the bar for how fun and delightful escape rooms can be!!

Our party of six, spanning three generations, had a fantastic time trying to solve the mystery in Lombino's Casino! The fun starts the moment you walk through the door! Patrick was a fantastic game master/host with great theatrical energy! Only one of us had ever been to an escape room before and we solved it with about a minute to spare. I highly recommend it!

The best escape room in Portland! We did Lombino's Casino and loved the experience from start to finish. The entry space is amazingly detailed and the host's enthusiasm and storytelling was fun and immediately immersed us in the game. The challenges in the room were well-paced and clever, and struck just the right balance of being difficult but not frustrating. I will absolutely be back to try the other room here. Highly recommended!
