Estuary
"Sourcing ingredients from our friends up and down the Chesapeake, Estuary—a brand new restaurant from Chefs Bryan and Michael Voltaggio—offers a reimagined approach to the distinct flavors of dishes that have traditionally been part of the watershed’s seafood offerings. Our seasonal menu highlights the bounty of the Bay area and invites you to indulge in an honest taste of the place we call home."

A wonderful place for date night. Ambience was perfect and the staff was a delight. They even took us around to see other parts of the place that had been closed for the night just because we were having good conversation. Although food portions might seem small, don’t under estimate how full you will get, especially when eating slowly and conversing with your beautiful partner! Well paced through the night. Highly recommended.
The Conrad Hotel in which the restaurant is located is beautifully designed. Estuary looks fantastic and the service is exceptional. We had Chicken Waffle that’s what they call it, Strawberry Danish French Toast, Breakfast Potatoes, Pork Sausage, and Green Tea. Everything was good.
After “checking us in …” they finally were allowed to seat us. Ok. Chose off the small menu and when the food came, it looked nice. The potato pancakes were gluggy, so they did kindly switch them out for another dish. My dish - the salmon on the bagel - should have come with a steak knife. I couldn’t cut it, and I sure couldn’t eat it in my finger as everything kept dropping off. There were one or two things I wasn’t impressed with, but at least the staff were pleasant and the decor was lovely. Seeing as it was quite expensive for breakfast, I’d probably be inclined to try elsewhere near the hotel during our stay, but it’s definitely convenient for many, I’m sure.
Surprisingly good pick for an elegant lunch with a nice view. We ordered the shrimp cocktail to start, which came with fresh, large prawns. The farm lettuce salad with salmon was an excellent choice as well. Seafood is fresh and perfectly cooked here!
Hotel food can be hit or miss. This place inside the Conrad was impressive. And the Caribbean Sunset and Smash Burger are both delicious! Service great. Ambience good. They don't treat "Party of one's" like piranhas. : Although, I suppose with random travelers, they're used to it
Pretty big disappointment after seeing the positive reviews for this restaurant. While the staff is polite and helpful and the ambience and interior design is beautiful, the food is a huge let down. Their starter popovers complimentary were burnt and tasted charred. The starter beets were good —they were cooked but still a bit hard though. The crudo which was used yellowtail was very fishy and really small portions for a $30 dish. The smoked cabbage was actually Napa cabbage with kimchi fried rice. It was fine but the flavor was pretty one-note the flavor of kimchi was overpowering. The old bay fries were fine but very standard. The main course was a $95 whole grilled fish we split between two people. While I understand a lot of the cost came from the caviar and fish roe, it definitely felt overpriced for what it was. The menu itself didn’t have much seafood entree options despite proclaiming to be a seafood-oriented restaurant. We finally tried the milk chocolate crepe brûlée and this was not a crime brûlée at all. It was more like a bittersweet chocolate mousse. Really disappointing as well since we were expecting a crime brûlée. Overall, despite the nice staff and decor, it was definitely not worth the price for the quality of food and I wouldn’t recommend the food to others.
Everything was excellent. The food was exquisite, the staff was kind and knowledgable, the chef was amazing. A perfect spot to have an intimate dining experience. Valet parking is available [$14-35]. A jewel of a spot serving fresh food locally sourced. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options with an option to add meat. Parking: Valet parking and hotel parking available. Located inside the Conrad, 3rd floor. Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible Dietary restrictions: Open kitchen. If you have seafood allergies they have seating away from the kitchen
The presentation of the food was great. The portions were just okay for the price. Everything tasted fine. The location and staff were nice.
Very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is located inside Conrad by Hilton hotel. Enjoyed cocktails at the restaurant and ordered room service for dinner.
Best place in DC, or probably one of the best in US. Staffs are very attentive too. Dinner - lamb chops and ribeye Brunch - French Toast and Benny We’ll surely come back here!
