I was very surprised at the prices for the quality of shoes they were offering. I walked away with cute, stylish sandals for under $40. They also had lots of cute shoes on sale for under $30. Their selection is more earthy but still very on trend. The lady working was bright and gave efficient, bubbly service even with a rude customer. She gave great suggestions helping me choose a stylish sandal that would accomodate my needs for support and comfort. If you're looking for a boutique shoe shop to browse I highly recommend them.

Man, I miss this store and I can't believe we don't have any equivalent on the east coast. Sure there are dozens of vegan shoe stores in NYC but none in the surrounding areas and none with the selection and prices of Ether. I've been there twice and each time I bought entire wardrobes of shoes, some of which I still have years later and I still LOVE them! Ether really makes an effort to stock a wide range of styles at affordable prices. The quality of their shoes at least the ones I bought are amazing, the staff is patient and pleasant. I must have tried on every shoe in the store and the sales woman didn't even blink! If you are in the Portland area, stop by this shop. It's not just for people who care about the environment and animals all their products are animal free!, it's truly a unique and awesome corner store where you can find cute, affordable, well-made wares!

Great choice but I was disappointed to see that the door is kept open on this pretty damp chilly winter day. When will all Portland store managers and beyond figure out the deadly importance of fuel efficiency?

Heads up, don’t trust hrs posted or stand by staff as “open” They have fun well priced shoes and bags but completely unreliable as to hours open. Have used the website, closed when stated as open . Then later called in advance , confirmed closing time before driving over . They were closed

Ether has the best priced trendy shoes in Portland. And all there shoes are made of man made materials. No leather here

Please update your store hours on Google maps. I specifically went out of my way after work to make it here by 6:30. It's 6:07 and you are closed.
