Eugene DellaMaggiore ,MD

Dr. Dellamaggiore has operated on both my knees. He operated the right one in 2010 and the left knee in June 2018. I can't say how pleased I am with his work. My knees were in pretty bad shape especially the left one I am still recovering from the surgery and he did an excellent job on both of them. I know that I have to go for knee replacement eventually, but wanted to postpone it for a few more years. I wasn't sure if this surgery would buy me enough time, but I decided to take my chances. Although I have not fully recovered yet, but I can say with confidence that I am much better that before. Also, In all the visits I had with him, he's been always friendly and patient. He always takes the time to review the MRI or other test results with me and answers all my questions. I can also say the same about his PA, Stephanie.

This review is long overdue. I first saw Dr. DellaMaggiore in June of 2019 due to unbearable shoulder pain that began years ago and finally got so bad I couldn’t go a day without severe discomfort. After Dr. DellaMaggiore examined me and reviewed my scans he was able to quickly determine the cause and provide a diagnosis that ultimately gave me the information needed to decide to have surgery. Dr. DellaMaggiore is a 5 star surgeon. My experience with him was everything I could have asked for and more.

This 1 star is rated on the staff and if i could I'd rate them zero, I would! We've heard wonderful things about this doctor, but because his staff are so rude, have a snotty attitudes and lack basic customer service skills and not just one, but several spoke to me in a condescending manner, hung up on and refused to schedule my elderly mother, due to her insurance. So I attempted to help her to schedule and offered to cover the bill and what a circus this office is! Over 2 weeks of complete run-a-round! These people have caused a tremendous about of distress in both of our lives! Then when I escalated concerns up to the manager "Amanda" her lack of concern and attentiveness made me even more frustrated and disappointed so I'm sharing here. This office is not at all concerned about treatement and the customer's health and well-being. As a bonus they were disrespectful to my elderly mother and then again to me multiple times. They act like they hate you and they don't care about their reputation! There are too many doctors in the bay area to deal with unprofessional, unfriendly condescending staff! We scheduled with another specialist, but then my mother fell ill. So we had to put this on hold so she hasn't seen that new doctor yet, but I plan to update later!

I have had needed Dr Dellamaggiore's service on two separate occasions and years apart. The outcome was the same both times, fixed up, better than before. The staff was great. Once treatment begins, everyone is focused on healing.

Dr D replaced my hip. He was unbelievable! The method he used had me walking hours after surgery. I was worried about recovery because i have a pretty physical job. Lots of climbing ladders and going up and down stairs if i would of known then what i know now, i would have had my surgery much sooner! Thanks Dr D

I went to Dr. Della Maggiore due to my knees being very swollen. MRI's showed no cartilage left. In four visits, he saw me just once and charged my insurance as if he was the one treating me. As my condition worsened, and he ignored it, I lost my job. Once he realized I had no insurance he dropped me like a hot potato. He only wanted the money. His staff is rude. They act as if they are in high school and are the cheerleaders instead of receptionists. They will ignore you while you wait we are all people who are hurt while they talk TV shows or their latest dates. The office manager is a fake and dumb. Don't bother with any of them. This doctor doesn't care about anything but $$. He is hired out by lawyers to speak against anyone who may have a claim. He is a hired gun. I found out while looking for a lawyer to sue him. My other orthopedic surgeon has stated that what Dr. Della Maggiore did was wrong. I've had two more opinions, all the same. This means I will sue Dr. della Maggiore for Malpractice with at least two orthopedic surgeons who will testify he is a bad doctor and makes mistakes by not listening to his patients. Don't go here if you don't have $ and if you want a doctor that really cares.

I had two Dr replace 2 knees. 1st by one Dr and second by him.1st one took 2 weeks recovery and 2nd one was by him and took 4 days till I went home. All in all a great experience. Second surgery by him was a breeze.

Wonderful DR had elbow and Shoulder surgery done both came out grate . Highly recommend seeing Dr.DellaMaggiore.

Both my husband and I have used Dr. D. He’s not only a talented Dr., but a great person too. Highly recommend.

Great Doctor.....did a ttl knee replacement and to the day I feel wayyy better.
