Really charming place with a cool live set up. Also it's a pretty funny moment when you realize the old guy who carded you at the door is the same guy greeting you at the bar. You're like "how the..."

Evangelos is iconic. No pretense and no Bud! Bar is nostalgic with so much heart and soul. Nico is one of a kind. U either appreciate that or you don't. Our favorite spot!

I've been here a few times, I was always treated great, until tonight. I was the only person in the establishment. Ordered my usual drink(s). Was told no. (No double shot) Was told " don't have an attitude" by the owner when i stated I've ordered them BEFORE from him. ( one double shot and a beer) Sat for over an hour and NOT a single word said to me. side note: I forgot they are a cash only place. They have an atm. Definitely a plus Asked for my bill. The owner was to busy talking gossips to realize he just lost a customer. Shame for such a well known bar. I'll never return along with the "few" potential customers he never acknowledged.

Cash bar only. Very interesting bar....must read reviews or Google it. Has had the same owner for years and is basically a local celebrity. Loved to hear the history on it. Nick makes awesome drinks too!

This was a great experience and we only saw half the bar. The owner Nick was bartending and was a great guy. Great upbeat vibe in a cozy setting. The history behind the bar is a great story as well. The beer selection was great. This is a must stop for anyone in the area. Also being right next to the Lensic you just might find the artist you just saw on stage having an after show beverage.
