Great sandwiches and OK tots in a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. The Ruben was OK, needed more meat, which was lost in this sandwich with its vibrant kraut and dressing and last bites with no meat at all. Corned beef sort of tasted like pot roast, but was good. Tots not entirely crispy. Beer cheese soup was too bitter with a bad aftertaste. Fun place to eat.
The sandwiches were on point here. I had the rurben which had the right amount of meat and bread. My wife had the Miami Vice ehich is a Cubano which was delicious. My wife said it could have used a little more mustard. Also my daughter had the spring chicken which was a very refreshing bite because of the avacado and tomato. My younger daughter had the ham grill cheese. All were great and i would definitely eat here again.
Really great sandwiches and sides. Vegetarian and vegan sandwiches are available. I can’t say enough good things about the pretzels and beer cheese sauce; very delicious. The Sprang Chicken was a great sandwich too. Even Steven also advertises that they donate food to those in need for every sandwich they sell.
For a spot smack dab in the middle of Central Phx. directly South of the Light Rail and Central Bus Station, I was overly excited to learn that they have Coors Beer $1.10 per can. Lets not forget the most "incredible" spicy grilled cheese sandwich. I would have never imagined if I hadn't tasted it for myself!! I will be returning!!
Food was good. Unique, industrial but warm atmosphere. Some interesting vegetarian and vegan options too. We got a Reuben without the meat, and it was just as good. You might want to custom order it. Jackfruit torta was creative, but not a standout, flavorwise. I'd go back.
I visited this spot for breakfast. They had nice covered outdoor seating, but since I was not used to the Arizona heat, I went inside for my breakfast. The inside was quite large, with lots and lots of seating options. Since the spot is located at the corner lot, it was very bright in the inside with natural light. To the left of the entrance is the order counter. When I walked in around 8:30am, it was empty… I was expecting some king of a morning rush, but I don’t think I saw a single soul in here… But, that didn’t stop me from getting my breakfast. I ordered a Breakfast Sandwich that comes with two eggs and choice of meat or avocado, cheddar cheese on Hawaiian Bun. For meat, I wanted pork belly, but the staff told me that they don’t offer pork belly option any more…how sad... The sandwich was pretty darn tasty! Hawaiian bun was like a softer pretzel buns, with little sweetness to it. The eggs were fluffy, and bacon strips were crunchy, cloud-like buns...yum! Another thing I loved was that it came with tater tots instead of home fries. The tater tots were nothing really special, but comforting. It was quite filling, I took about half of it back with me. Another treat I got was their sugar cookie, for FREE!!! How? Well, I checked in at this spot with Yelp, and it gave me a free cookie! Yes! The staff here was not very friendly, but nice enough and willing to help.
Totally worth the parking situation, it being downtown. Will definitely return! Light rail operates rights in font of establishment. Live music was a plus...on a Friday evening.
Definite place to check out, food is absolutely delicious great portions for such a low price, great atmosphere and music , helpful and friendly staff
Great service and super good food. They of both sweet berry compote stuffed French toast and savory spicy tater tots for breakfast selections. I will be returning tomorrow?
The premise was originally why I came here the first time, but the food is off the hook! I have had the Reuben and the grilled cheese and they were both wonderful. Good flavor, good portion size, and the atmosphere is in keeping with a place that gives to its community. I love it here.
