Eye Center of Delaware

Based on the reviews, it appears that the doctors here are amazing, however, I never made it that far. As a prospective patient, I decided to stop by the office today since I was in the area. I had read great things about this establishment and considered changing from a chain optometrist to a more familial setting. Unfortunately, the receptionist I'm unsure of her name, but she has red hair was incredibly rude from the beginning of our interaction. I asked if the office was accepting new patients, to which she paused, looked at me with a face of disgust, said yes and immediately asked if I was from "around here". Her tone had a hint of attitude, which was a bit alarming, but I answered her question anyway. Then she proceeded to say "Well, most people call to see if we are accepting new patients". I was taken aback because I did not understand the issue with asking the question in person. It was clear that she was not interested in helping me, so I decided to walk out. Upon reading more reviews, it seems that this employee has had many unfriendly encounters with others. I am not too sure that rationale behind her attitude, but if she does not work on this soon, I fear that others may never get to experience the great work of this office due to her terrible disposition.

Both the doctors and receptionists were wonderful. They have a specialist on site that takes a look at cataracts and detached retinas for those of us with severe astigmatism. When you first walk in to the right, you see all of the new frames and though they say it takes 2 or so weeks for your new pair to arrive, I had my new glasses in less than a week. I highly recommend this business.

I never had a problem there! They are so nice and helpful!! Just picked up my glasses and once again they are AWESOME there!!

I am a long time patient at the Eye Center of DE. I enjoy my visits immensely. The reception I receive is always warm , inviting and professional. I also receive excellent care. When my eyes are dilated, and when diagnostic tests are performed, I receive the most professional, and compassionate attention. My overall experience has been awesome for many years.

My first time there and I was greeted right away, i was seen promptly and the nurses and Dr. Brosman were all knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent experience!

Dr.Davolas was thorough and has an awesome personality. Wendy was very friendly and made you feel right at home. Definitely will recommend.

The facilities were clean and modern, and the personnel were professional committed and patient. They answered all my questions and made sure I had a clear understanding of my diagnoses.

I would like to thank Rita for contacting me to schedule a visit before the year ended. When contact no availability until Jan. 2023, she got me in sooner.
