Food was about a 7/10 however the cook/manager was very rude to me and my friend while we waited for our meal. I love gyros but unfortunately this will be my last time eating here :(

Falafel Cafe gave us something that franchise restaurants didn't: the experience of enjoying home made food! It made me sense the presence of passion of the chef in the food; a feature that has usually been absent in the chain restaurants' menu for me. Overall, a great place to enjoy good middle eastern food, and be taken care of by a caring chef.

Waiter was very nice. Falafel wrap was yummy! Fries were thin, fresh cut... Very good, but a touch on the greasy side. One minor complaint was that the salt was too coarse for the salt shaker, so we had to remove the lid to get it to come out.. We took home spinach and feta pies which were fantastic just heated in the microwave. We also grabbed a few pieces of decent sized baklava, and a bowl of lentil soup which were all very good. This is definitely one of my favorite stops in University Circle for a quick bite to eat.
