Istanbul Mediterranean Grill

The food was prepared well and tasty in large quantity. We go smart and shared some food to prevent over-eating. The price was a little high, but that is expected for such authentic Mediterranean dishes. We tried many differed dished and they all taste good. The noise level was high and we had to speak loud as a result.

The staff is so welcoming and pleasant!!! Delicious vegetarian options. Also the perfect place to stop in if you want small plates it’s not just big meals. They also serve Turkish coffee!

Fresh hot Tea was amazing. The appetizers (baba and tabouli) with the fresh bread are a must. The chick Kabob dish was outstanding. The steak kabob was okay. Food is better if you eat in rather than take out. Service was Quick and the staff friendly. Lots of parking and great location in Avon by the Lowe’s.

Experience was a bit noisy with teenagers but food turned out pretty good. The hummus is a must and serves enough to take a large portion home. It comes with thicker, warm bread and two other dipping sauces. If you are looking for a hearty dish, the Okra Sauté with Lamb is pretty delicious. It was a little more tomato rich that I would prefer but overall, yummy. The Hot Spinach was different in a good way (kind of oily/watery but rich in flavor) and paired well with the Lamb Shish Kabob (a bunch of pictures show this dish) which was delicious. If you are looking for a full authentic experience, make sure to get 1-2 Turkish Coffees. They come in their own espresso like cup and are very strong. Do know that sugar is already in the mixture of the Turkish coffee, so it will be sweet. Overall, we enjoyed our visit.

Very nice service. Family owned vibe. Food was perfectly cooked and delicious! Bathrooms on-site. Free parking out front. Probably the best cooked and tasting lamb shish I've ever had! Prices were fair.
