This place offers authentic falafel pita. Every ingredient used is homemade, they don't use store bought ingredients. The taste is different then a normal NYC falafel pita, it's very tasty and filling. Portion size is very large and they hesitate to put more sauces or salad if you ask. If you are not too hungry then just take their half pita. Staff is also very humble and polite. They offer outdoor seating also which is covered so you can eat if it's raining or snowing.
They have the best falafel in New York. The amazing combination of salad, fried eggplants, pickle and falafel with special tahini sauce and mango sauce!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
A must try Falafel of Brooklyn Very affordable prices and all fresh and testyFood: 5/5
I'm not a huge fan of falafel in general but a friend told me this hole in the wall spot is some of the best falafel in the city. I gave it try and immediately wanted more, it is so fresh, delicious, flavorful- 2 bread types pita and laffa. There's a variety of toppings to choose from, I couldn't decide so I just asked the worker to put in whatever he felt was right and it was SENSATIONAL. Whenever I pass by this place its always swarming with people, I cannot recommend it enough whether you're lover of falafel lovers or not :
Went in to pick up food and the owner hasn't even started the order. It's been 20 minutes. There's no customers and no orders. He's sitting in the back picking his nose playing on his phone. When I asked why the order isn't done' he said give me 20 minutes. Asked why so long and he shrugged at me. Kept telling him to use his words to which he finally said "I don't care".
Probably…. no, definitely… the best falafel/hummus joint in NYC. The incidentals are unreal as well: the hot sauce, the onion-y garlic sauce, the pita. Get down to Midwood.
The falafel here is legit. Take a bite, and it has a nice green color inside, as it should. The fries aren't that great they should be kept hot or made fresh, but the food is excellent. The owners are courteous and friendly. Save your time and money; I've been to other falafel places in the area, and nothing compares. Plus, they have sabich!
Great ingredients, portions and prices! I recenlty discovered this spot and decided to try it after reading so many other good reviews. The falafel are nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. I love the fresh hummus with side of garlic and will definitely be back for more.
Simply amazing. There are few places that I crave and this falafel joint is one of them. I would travel to Brooklyn simply to eat here again and that’s not even a joke.
Incredible food, they don't skimp on any toppings, and include a tasty sauce complimentary. Food was ready when I got there to pickup, and was as easy as grabbing and walking out the door. Definitely coming back.
