Don’t go here. They will rip you off and also damage the integrity of your jewelry. I took my watch to get some links removed a no-name budget watch and assumed it would be 10, 15 bucks max. They attempted to charge $30 bucks, so I asked for my watch back after they had begun the process. I took it to Jared & they not only removed the links for free, but informed me that whoever worked on my watch previously, seriously damaged the life-hood of my band by stripping the screws. This watch belonged to my deceased grandma & is irreplaceable. I would go literally anywhere else for jewelry repairs.
I didn't actually get service done here and that's because of the outrageous pricing. I had a watch that needed a new stem. This wasn't a luxury watch or anything so this should've been around a $50-80 job. After originally saying they would give me a price estimate in 1 hour, they didn't call me back for over an entire day. They quoted me $125 for the job and weren't willing to negotiate which is absurd. The only saving grace is that their estimates are free, but be aware that these prices are predatory and aimed towards people who aren't aware of fair pricing for watch repairs.
David was able to get my fiancée's engagement ring resized in a little over an hour. The work is beautiful and top-notch. He was super friendly and transparent with what the process looked like. You can tell David is experienced and takes great pride in the quality of his work.
Even though I showed up late in the evening, David kindly repaired a rose gold right hand ring, sized my platinum engagement ring and 2 wedding bands, sized my grandma’s precious heirloom gold & diamond cluster ring, then cleaned and shined them all, Masterfully!! He stayed 30 minutes after closing to get it all done Same Day without me asking him to do so. Fast, efficient, super friendly. Fast-Fix is located in the Galleria, food court level, across from Subway and Foot Locker. Easy parking. Highly recommend!
Took my brand new watch to this place to adjust the steel bracelet. I should have inspected this more closely when I was there, however when I got home to have more time to look, I saw there were scratches and small dents all over the bracelet pieces they worked on. They must hammered it too hard, one piece of metal even out of shape and can clearly feel the sharpness on the edge. This is really upsetting! I don’t mind paying 25 dollars to adjust the bracelet but I would expect as professionals they can at least show they are being mindful and careful of handling customer’s watches which they clearly did not.
Brought my David Yurman earring in because the stud broke. He welded it and polished my earrings & had them looking bran new in 30 minutes!
Fast professional and if you have tiny fingers he can still make your ring fit perfect! He has done my rings at two different times and will continue my business here.
One of the better repair spots for your cherished jewelry, knowledgeable and professional service
