Overall this place is fine. Not the fastest clinic but I wasn't mad at the wait. Confirm treatment several times as there was a disconnect between my request and what was done, but after comforting they did everything I came there for.
Had a gash on my shin that needed stitches and the team here did a great job. They took me back immediately to access the damage. The PA, Carissa, was very informative and nice. The staff provided me with the materials needed to care for the stitches at home as well. Being from out of town, I wasn’t sure which urgent care to go to but glad I picked this one.
Receptionist was very polite. The preappointment paper work was fairly brief and the wait time was reasonable. The MA was polite and professional. The Doctor was polite, professional and had a confident manner. I felt comfortable at this facility.
Shoulder pain was unbearable and was extremely painful so I came to Fast Med urgent care instead of the ER because I’d get seen sooner. The staff was friendly, caring and helpful. From Marisa at the front to MA Vanessa and PA Carissa was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better medical staff to help with my care!
Worst experience we have had. The provided did not assess my daughter before coming to a diagnosis and without physically touching her or asking her to try to walk said it’s a sprain and she would be fine in the morning. She said they would never be able to get her to sit still for an X-ray and refused to even try. We had called ahead to make sure X-rays were a capability of this facility and were told it would be possible if they found it necessary. She had all classic signs of a tibia fracture and we weren’t given the time of day. We were very much dismissed of our concerns and as a medical professional myself, I would never recommend this facility or the health care provider. We went to children’s ER and my daughter not only got an X-ray with ease but it showed not only one but two fractures in the leg.
The ER experience was horrific. A four-hour wait even with just four in the waiting room. They’re not particularly pleasant and get snippy when you ask how much longer it will be. Several patients walked out. The doctor was super nice, but my goodness, the others are in the wrong line of work. Go elsewhere.
Super nice staff all around. Went in for a cold & constant Migraines. The PA on at the time was a bit concerned. With some of my symptoms thank goodness she order blood work, because I was never aware of underlining medical conditions that I have. So great team
We walked in at 8:57am and was immediately yelled at by the front office lady to get out until 9 even though she had unlocked the door. When it was 9am, we walked in and was greeted rudely and sarcastically by the same lady. We didn't have an appointment and were told we'd need to wait around until someone didn't show up for their appointment. When I asked to make an appointment for later that day, the same rude lady stated to "just go online and do it". After getting an appointment 4.5 hours later, we walked back into to urgent care not sure why it's called URGENT CARE if you can't be seen quickly... not over 4 hours later!. Our appointment was at 1:30pm, and didn't get taken back to a room until 2pm.... even though we had an appointment. An elderly man with his title of 'X-ray technician' was playing the role of MA- it was difficult for my 4yo to understand him, follow his directions, or feel comfortable. It took him over 10 minutes to go through all the questions about my daughter's health because he could not type professionally just used his index fingers- it seemed to take forever when my daughter was in extreme pain. We saw the PA finally at 2:15pm- absolutely ridiculous. Got the diagnosis of strep and was given a rx. The MA called CVS to see if they were still open and said they were so we could get our rx filled asap. We needed to drive across town to this CVS for the pharmacy everywhere else was closed. We got to CVS only to be told that the pharmacy closed 3 hours ago. The MA who called for us didn't ask if the PHARMACY was open... just the store. Overall, this was a horrible experience not the fist one either. We will be driving further away next time to an urgent care and make sure it's not a FastMed!
I came in for an ankle injury, they were very thorough with the exam. Although they did not have the Xray tech in house they gave me a referral to get one done at my earlier convenience. I will definitely come back to this location for any immediate health services.
I broke my arm 3 weeks ago. I immediately went to this urgent care not knowing how bad my arm was at the time. It was 7:30 on a Tuesday night. The receptionist could clearly see I was in pain and told me they didn't have anybody to xray me. I started to leave and my boyfriend said why don't you see if they could give u a sling or something. The woman says she could examine me but then lies and tells me my insurance is no good. I was hurt and discouraged. I didn't think it was that bad cuz of the reaction from staff so I didn't go hospital for two weeks. I have a broken humerus and now I might have done damage that will affect me for life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DONT GO HERE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE COULD HAVE SAID THEY WERE CLOSING SOON INSTEAD OF LYING ABOUT MY INSURANCE...
