I need a tire plugged. That's it. I was told it would be about an hour because there were 2 people ahead of me. Fine. No worries. Nearly 2 hours later... here I still sit.
Never again. I thought I'd give them another chance, with something pretty simple, after they quoted me a price of $1200 to fix my brakes. They said I needed all 4 pads replaced, new calipers and new front rotors. I needed new rear pads. That's it. $50 & I changed them myself.
I'm pretty sure they just saw a single woman and thought I was an easy target to take advantage of. I say that because once I brought my dad with me to see exactly how bad everything was, they changed their tune. All the sudden it wasn't necessary to do it all. What's sad is that I overheard the same man give a little old lady the same song and dance today. Poor thing. She probably didn't need everything they said she did either.
I highly recommend taking your business anywhere but Firestone on Ryan St in Lake Charles. I know I sure will.

TERRIBLE. Waited 6 hours for an alignment and ac charge. After 2 hours i was told I was next for alignment, 1 hour and 45 min later I was somehow 3rd in line. So i talked with 2 different workers, not the guy with glasses and beard, and they got be bumped up. Told me the vehicle being worked on now would take 20-30 min and mine would be next. ok sounds good. 30 min later i got a call saying my truck was magically done already. I left and immediately noticed it still pulling and the camber off. When i asked for the charts their printer had conveniently malfunction thats why they never printed them out. In other words THEY NEVER DID THE ALIGNMENT! Been going to different firestones all across the east coast for 6 years and never had this issue.

This place is always good, this is the only place my husband takes our vehicles to. They are always quick and very polite. They do have free coffee and they play documentaries sometimes in the lobby. Last time I was there I watched a documentary about the middle East which was pretty entertaining and cool to watch. Also they aren't to harsh on me when I don't know what they are talking about, they are perfectly fine with me calling my husband and telling him what's going on. Kudos to you guys!

Front of the store looks like it's closed down, shop is filthy, I've worked in some messy shops but man this topped it all... hands didn't know their a** from a hole in the ground, and office personnel are not well informed and if you not spending bucks they don't have time for you... I understand it's business, but a person to person level is expected if I plan to trust you with my vehicle! I won't deal with someone that won't give me a moment of their time...

I brought my vehicle in 3 times for repairs and each time the issue was not resolved. On the first time they said my alternator needed to be replaced, I agreed with the understanding that it would resolve the issue. The second time only 2 weeks later the issue arose again, this time it was belts and the belt tensioner. Then one week later the issue returned and this time the mechanic stated the AC compressor needed to be replaced, an additional $1000. The issue I have is they recommended unnecessary repairs that I would not have done had I known the whole issue and costs of repairs, which are worth more than the vehicle. Not only was that an issue but I paid for labor twice for the same issue which still was not resolved. I refused the third, because as the mechanic stated, my "vehicle is worth less than the cost of repairs". The mechanic also stated that there was "no way to resolve this issue and that sometimes they miss stuff or make mistakes". The problem simply stated is that I trusted them to fix something or at least use their expertise to provide good feedback on what to do. So either out of ignorance or abuse of my trust, they offered me services that did not resolve the issue and actually created more problems. To anyone in the Lake Charles area I would find a different location or mechanics.
