They never showed up to pick up my special needs child 2 days in a row. Beyond incompetent.

I would give 0 stars if that were an option. The drivers are lazy, the buses are practically antiques that are always breaking down, and the staff at the office are rude. When I called to complain about my son's bus being 30 minutes late, the woman that answered the phone said it was not their policy to call parents to inform them that the bus would be late, and just set it down on her desk while I was talking. My son texted me once the bus finally arrived (40 minutes late), and the doors on the bus barely opened, there was rust everywhere, and the emergency exit door was duct taped shut. How is this okay? How is this the ONLY bus that was available for use. The sad part is this bus is older than his usual bus, and that's the one they were able to get started.

Who trains your driver's? In traffic during morning rush hour I was cut off by a bus trying to exit the expressway . As I was patiently waiting for traffic to move, this bus driver attempted to and did move in front of me without worrying if my car would be hit in the process! Then had the nerve enough to blow the horn at me insinuating I did something wrong . Please teach safety first in your school buses because this driver drove without safety in mind for the children on board the vehicle .

I'm a wedding planner. We used four First Student buses, for the first time, for wedding transportation in New Orleans. The low pricing and the fact that the bride was a school teacher (so school buses would be a cute tribute) are what made us decide to try them out. Despite VERY clear emailed instructions and multiple confirmation calls regarding pickup locations, drop off locations, and times for each, the buses were at the wrong places at the wrong times. The drivers were calling me to find out where they were supposed to be and told me that the instructions they were given were a "mess". Then they had no idea how to get from the hotels to the ceremony because they didn't know that buses aren't allowed on French Quarter streets. When they were supposed to come back to the ceremony location to pick up the guests, they went to the family photo location instead, which was, thankfully only a few blocks away from the Temple. After failed attempts to reach the drivers or the company, one of my staff had to RUN down the street in his suit and flag down the buses to tell them where to go. Then after they picked up the guests, the buses left without approval and left behind the entire bridal party. The bride and groom had to share their limo and I had to take the rest in my SUV. The bride, groom, and her family were an hour late to their own reception because of these screw ups. I will NEVER use this company again and I suggest you stay far far away. You get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and call New Orleans Tours.
