Fitness For 10 - Downtown Reno

Although a bit on the small side, I love this gym because of its location, staff friendliness, and price! It's great all around - for people doing cardio, weightlifting, yoga, or many other things. The equipment is always clean and rarely out of order. I do wish they had better showers in the men's locker room as I feel they are not private, but it is a small annoyance. For what you get, I highly suggest trying this gym out.

Clean, basic gym with great staff. They are honest and straightforward about the billing process. Squat rack is usually occupied. You can validate your parking ticket at the front desk, so no need to pay for parking in the garage across the street. Can't beat the price overall for this gym.

I was expecting the worst when I visited Fitness for 10 yesterday. As often as that building flips and becomes something else, I though there was no way they put a quality gym. They done proved me wrong. The place was clean, spread out, ample equipment and the locker room was nice too (although I didn't take a shower-review update will hit later). I actually went so that I could check out a spinning class. That class kicked my ass! The first 10 minutes of the class I was in doubt of my abilities to make it through the hour. I have never taken a cycling class before and I, quite frankly, thought I was going to die. Lisa never pushed me harder than I could go and changed it up often enough that somehow I made it the entire time and, dare I say, am actually looking forward to my next Monday evening cycling class with her. I highly recommend both Fitness for 10 Downtown and Cycling Instructor Lisa.

Convenient and cost effective. Friendly staff and clean facility. Love all cool classes they have.
