Great food and great people. The staff are incredibly friendly, like to hold conversations, and are very funny. Nick L. is one of the best workers there too. He’s fast and efficient, and definitely a great employee. The food is made with care, it’s not sloppy and is overall a good casual dining place. It is conveniently located in the heart of downtown. The restrooms are very clean and always smell fine. The soda selection is huge and the cup sizes are perfect.
I rarely eat at Five Guys. I think they make good burgers, the fries are better than many fast food restaurants but their prices are too high for what you get. I had their Double Cheeseburger and a large fry. I also had the free peanuts for the first time, I liked them. The burger was very good. The large fries come in a tiny cup, the size of an order of small fries from McDonald's. They dump a large fries worth of fries into the bag on top of your food. It's all a marketing move that makes it look as if you have an over abundance of fries. It didn't work. You get a large fries worth of fries. We're basically over paying for a Dave's Double and large fries. If prices were the same I would choose 5 Guys over Wendy's. With the significant increase in price over Wendy's the difference isn't worth the money. Give 5 Guys a try, I think the food is definitely delicious. It's with the price I have issue. Parking: We parked in the parking garage.
Solid location for downtown Phoenix, accesible for that matter. Friendly staff. Burgers just didn’t impress me overall though, need a little extra love on those patties.Recommended dishesHamburger, Regular Fries
I got the lettuce wrapped cheeseburger and the salted caramel shake. My friend got an Oreo cookie shake and a plain cheeseburger. We both were like, shocked by how good it all was. Very happy.Food: 5/5
Food was good but was missing some requested ingredients. Folks were friendly and helpful. Milkshake and Cajun fries were great. Still I can't believe how much lunch for 2 set us back.
My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger. And I got the vienna hot dog with the works. And all in all it was very good the meat was fresh and tasty. It was fast, easy, and delicious. Oh yeah, and the french fries were okay.Food: 4/5
This is my first time at Five Guys. The cheeseburger is unbelievably tasty. I was not aware that they made the burgers to order, and they even got it right!Food: 5/5
Five Guys has really good comfort food and the service is almost always great! If you do have any issues, Kristi, the manager here, is fantastic at solving any issues you may have in a timely manner.Food: 5/5
The girls were super nice and the place was clean and empty nobody was rushing them at the time which is why I was so disappointed when I got home to see that my whole order was wrong, the burger was soggy and my fries were not Cajun; there was no reason for my food To be wrong and nasty.
Everytime I go to Five Guys, it costs a little more, and you leave a little less full. It now costs almost $19 for a double Bacon cheeseburger, Med fries, and Med drink. The patties are not as big as they used to be, and that is messing with my interpretation of the taste. I swear it's not as good but I can't be sure if it's just because of sticker shock. The fries, are still delicious, and might be the only thing besides the hot dogs that I ever get at full price. The peanuts, as always, are a welcome and delightfully gratis offering. 15 years ago this novel chain's M.O. was the stuff of legends, now it's just a mediocre foil-wrapped burger that takes almost 10 minutes to make even though you're one of 2 people waiting for food.
