Great place to try flights and beers local in kentuckiana! One of the must-try is their tater tots that has pork and cheese and bbq sauce and it is so delicious! Also the pretzels are great paired with cheese, mustard and bbq sauce. Best beers in kentuckiana and also nice place to stay and chill.
Definitely would recommend this brewery. They had a variety of beers and helpful staff. Food was delicious! When we visited they had a unique sour, but all beer drinkers could find something to enjoy here. Wonderful location next to the river. Will hopefully be back some day.
Very nice craft beer selection.Dylan was my server and he's extremely knowledgeable about the beer ingredients.I think my favorite was the Vanilla Hazelnut Porter. The environment is scenic because it's on the river.Great place to enjoy a summer evening.lot's of space to bring a group.
A great little spot for a refreshing stop after crossing Big Four bridge. One big room with garage doors, kitchenette in corner behind bar. IPA tasted a little old, blueberry Saison was tart, fruity, and a flavor bomb, mango Kölsch was refreshing. Caprese flat bread surprisingly good given the "kitchen".
Great location right across the street from the river. Lots of street parking available. Lots of seating inside and out on the deck overlooking the river. And they are working very hard to be a trendy beer pub - and meeting the mark. The location/view is what sets it apart. Drink selection was good, not especially great if you are looking for local brews. The menu looks good and though we just ordered burgers and a pretzel, everything was good once we got our order. The burgers were very good. As my daughter pointed out, the lettuce and tomato were not particularly fresh she's used to California cuisine, and bun could have come from a local grocery store didn't appear to be freshly made on site. The french fries were also, but nothing spectacular. My wife had the pretzel and she enjoyed it - it was very big, big enough for her to make a meal out of it her choice not mine. Beer selection was good. I had Ace Pineapple Cider which was great on a warm Sunday afternoon. My daughter had the Sour Strawberry, and my wife a canned root beer. You order at the bar and get a number to place at your table so they can bring your order to you. Somehow they missed one of the three orders. So two of us ate our food while waiting for the 3rd order - which was given gratis after their mistake was pointed out. Kids can watch them prepare the meals if they need something to keep them occupied besides the river and passersby. And it was not busy on a Sunday afternoon. The view and seating choices earn five stars. The food is a solid 3 stars. But missing an order when you aren't busy, and then not catching it yourself - they brought out our meals, and left their number on our table which led us to believe that they were just going back in to pick it up. They weren't, they didn't. Kudos for remembering us and our order when I went back inside to inquire but I didn't feel like they were at all concerned about messing up our meal/my time with my daughter who was visiting from out of town.
I have been back to this place twice because I love it so much. Every day of the week they have some kind of special going on. My favorite is Friday's, where you can buy a pint and a 6-pack for $10. You can't beat that. They offer a wide selection of beer on tap, and tasters are free. The food is delicious as well. The bartenders I've had have all been incredibly friendly, personable, and knowledgeable of all beers on tap. Surely a winner here.
Flat12 has never been a favorite of mine. I find their brew to be bland compared to some of the other mid-west craft brews. I must say though, the Jeffersonville tap room offers local brews that are worth visiting for. They have the classics that Flat12 is known for, but also some interesting beers, only offered in this location. Their line of beers brewed in bourbon barrels was a particularly happy surprise. The food offered is overpriced for the quality of ingredients and unfortunately the "marketing manager" was less than professional during our visit. Not only was he drinking on the job, but he was overly friendly with many of the women in our group to the point they felt uncomfortable. All the other bartenders and wait staff were knowledgeable and did a great job of suggesting drinks to the less beer educated members of our group. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a front row view of the river and Louisville. Very pretty at night with the city lit up in the background. Tables are small and seating is limited, so with a a large group, expect to stand. Overall, I think Flat12 is a great addition to the budding Jeffersonville community and as a native of Southern Indiana, it is great to have a place to enjoy a beer without crossing the river.
Great beer, excellent draft selection on top and the pricing is very fair! The food menu is small but extremely tasty, the pizza we had was excellent! 10/10, would recommend! If you like beer stop here!!!
They have a great view and great beer. What I don't like about them is they are like the soup Nazi of brewpubs. The servers there have often times seem very sharp and as a matter of fact. Everything is about them and the way they need to do everything. They set their own weird hours are not open very late don't consistently serve food and seem to think beer cocktails are cool. To me a brewpub or just a pub in general is for the people so it should be open for more hours be more consistent and something you can depend on. You can't depend on this place they are writing their own script and I'm not a big fan of it. Another thing they lack is decent bike parking. If you ride your bike to flat 12 there's really no place to bring it inside or set it near where you seat outside. I hope they start catering to the people instead of themselves.
I got pretty terrible service the two times I went for food. The first time the guy literally said, "I can't wait for this day to be over" when he was ringing me up. Today I went to get their new rotis, was completely ignored when I walked in, waited with card in hand for several minutes before a bartender asked me what I wanted or even said she'd be with me shortly. Got a completely flat faced encounter ordering, and she seemed annoyed when I asked for it to-go. The kitchen staff were much more courteous and upbeat, but that's not saying much compared to the bartender. The food was alright, but a pretty small portion. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
