Opening winter 2017. Flowers & Bread is a working bakery, floral studio and coffee shop offering classes and private events.

Story

Flowers & Bread is an educational and private event space devoted to life’s simple pleasures. Inspired by the success of its sister school, The Seasoned Farmhouse, Flowers & Bread is a recreational school that offers hands-on classes in bread baking, floral design and cooking from a wood-fire oven.

Flowers & Bread is also a working bakery and coffee shop featuring homemade breads and bakery items, ficelle sandwiches and locally-roasted espresso and coffee drinks.

On the local level, we are creating a space to inspire people to put down their phones and engage their hands, hearts and minds in age-old processes such as baking, arranging flowers and talking over warm bread and coffee. Flowers & Bread is a place to explore your own creativity, create new competencies and make like-minded friends. On a larger scale, we hope to collaborate with local artisans and farmers to ignite interest in local products such as little-used Ohio heirloom grains and locally-grown, seasonal flowers.
