Small bakery. Good price. Tasty treats. The steam bums are great. There’s a special/Clarence table, make to not miss it.
I’m absolutely heart broken that it says that this place is permanently closed. Their food was amazing and I had a birthday cake for my birthday one year and was hoping I could again because of how amazing it was. I still have a crystal vase I got from there as well. And i can’t say enough on how good their milk buns were or how good all the other buns and sweets were.
I love this little bakery so much! I adore their fresh baked goods and staff. I come here when I want a little treat. They have little buns, baos, rolls, bread, and cakes! Everything, besides the cakes, ranges from $1.50-$3.00 and made fresh every day. There's plenty of parking, but no bathrooms and no tables. There are various shops surrounding the bakery that you can visit. There's a lot of variety in their pastries and they're all made very well. I recommend their taro and custard buns for something light and sweet, and their ham and cheese bun and their pork baos for something savory. The shop owners are very nice and very accommodating! I love this place and you will too.
Small local bakery shop with some great tasting Bao / Steamed buns. We only had the spicy beef as the remainder steam buns were already sold out. Nevertheless these were tasty steamed buns with plenty of filling. We will be returning and hopefully get to have some of their pork/mushroom steam buns. NOTE: We have been passing this place up for years without knowing they sell Bao buns. Glad we finally stepped in to enjoy.
A fun little Japanese bakery with a small selection but delicious, regardless!
This bakery is WONDERFUL. My sister brought me here for the first time yesterday and it almost immediately became my favorite new restaurant. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. All of the food looked amazing. We got the steamed pork buns. Blown away. So tasty
Ichiban Bakery has hands down the best strawberry cake I have ever tasted! The strawberry cake has a really great soft texture, with super fresh strawberries, and smooth whipped cream that has the perfect amount of sweetness. The customer service is also excellent with very kind workers.
I’ve been going here for sometime now, while some of their stuff is really good, a lot of it is under filled. I would just expect a little more filling for the money, or I might as well go to their competitor across the street. I would definitely recommend the bao and custard buns, because those are filled and very flavorful. Pass on the cake though, it’s pretty flavorless, and when I got the strawberry cake, the strawberries were very old; like the cake shouldn’t have been being served anymore. I will say their prices are reasonable, but if their fillings are lacking you might prefer somewhere else.
What a fantastic bakery. Highly recommend stopping in. I used to go to Belle’s more often, which is close by, but many times they were sold out of a lot of things. I tried Ichiban and now try to stop in whenever I am in the area. Recently tried the steamed buns and they are fantastic! High quality, consistent and affordable!
Nice little bakery. Their roll cakes are excellent. I've never had a bad one, but the mocha is definitely my favorite. Such a wonderful treat in the afternoon with a cup of tea. Bonus that they keep beautifully for several days in the fridge in their little plastic box. Not that they usually last that long around here!
