Great motivating workout. The instructors give clear instructions and are easy to hear. Sometimes the music is a little loud, but they do provide earplugs. The music is usually great with at least one song that really makes me smile and work harder. Having my name on the torq board is great motivation for me. The shoe rental is included in the class fee which increases the convenience. The arm workout is short but effective. I always leave feeling like I gave it my all and like being able to review my stats on the app.
Indoor cycling studio and barre with upbeat instructors. I love the data focused approach to your work out with power monitors so you don't have to guess how hard you're working. Compete with your fellow classmates, or against yourself, by opting in to see your live power score on the torq board. Shoes and towel come with the class fee so don't worry if you don't have them. With the lights turned down low in the studio, you might feel like you're at a dance party rather than at a gym. Rental lockers are free during class and the shower facilities are clean and spacious.
If indoor cycling is your thing, outdoor cycling is your thing or you just want a quality workout this place is for you. Subtract the pretentiousness of Soul and add a more balanced, safe and results-based workout and you've got yourself a FlyWheel. Took a FlyFit class with Devlin yesterday and it was phenomenal!! He cares about making a personalized workout for you even during a group class; he will notice when are haphazardly trying to modify a circuit and will give you a much better modification that helps with whatever problems you may have knees, wrists, back, etc. He also opens up every class by asking each individual person if they have any injuries he should be aware of. I left his classes feeling like I got a great workout and even snuck a good amount of cardio into this HIIT style class.
Excellent spin studio. Very clean and modern facility with great instructors and bikes. Flywheel provides shoes, towels, locker rooms, and filtered water from a fountain BYO bottle. If you have your own shoes they use look Delta or Shimano SPD cleats.
Best FyWheel Studio in DC. The space is amazing, the bikes are smooth and the staff are super nice. I would definitely suggest this location for everyone.
I've done spin before but generally need some help with initial bike setup. Wish I'd been able to get into the stadium more than six minutes in advance of class so I could see how the employee was setting the bike up for me so I could replicate and not need help next time.
Favorite spin and barre studios in town. Excellent instructors and clean locker room make this a great place to exercise.
I’ve only taken barre clases here and they are a great workout! The studio is very clean too
It's a very peaceful environment the guest are great just as well as the employees every employee knows atleast 2 to 3 guest that walks in and if you're new they make you feel right at home
