Very clean and spacious. Some items are cheaper here, than in my own neighborhood, which is what makes me like this location much better. They also have a better variety of produce, dairy and better quality of meat. Staff is super friendly as well.
This is the place I come to after Trader Joe’s is out of all the stuff I want. I wish this store was more organized. Most of my time spent here is searching. Like, they will have everything but where to find it is not intuitive at all. Prices are high.
Well run, medium sized grocer with rarely more than a person or two in the check out line. An easier alternative when you can’t handle the hustle and lines, after lines, at Whole Foods. Food Town has decent produce with some organic vegetables, and an impressively large selection of dry goods. There are plenty of options for dairy, mass produced cheeses and beer. The meats, fresh breads and flowers are all sort of... meh.
Suspicious meat. Bought steak that went bad 3 days before the sell-by date. One type of sausages in the store had no dates at all so I went with another. Plays like a lower quality, affordable place but actually expensive. For what I got, it was more expensive than Wegmans which is right near me, and has much higher quality in produce and meat.
A great supermarket. I'm sure this isn't their fault, but occasionally there's a truly awful smell that sort of puts me off buying their produce... But it's almost never crowded which makes it a great alternative to Whole Foods when you're pressed for time
The owner son is a rude employee and has no social morals and does not respect to treat a woman in public! They even own the Kellogg’s diner near the G train ! They even eaten at their dinner foods has gotten down on their quality of the taste of the food over the years. I prefer highly to suggest you should not go there ever. Since I gotten food poisoning a couple of times and sadly over many years ago. And it was sadly my favorite old neighborhood dinner to go with my mom! I highly recommend that you stay clear of the owner son and he loves to gossip about my personal life with out knowing me well! If your a woman I would highly suggest you stay clear of him in public for your own safety and social reputation!
Shop here daily for regular food needs and such but the sandwiches are so freaking good !! Fresh and they always have soft baked hero’s. The staff here is always kinda and courteous when in need to search for specific items. Always has daily sales on drinks and produce so I always get my fresh fruits and salads at a great price. There open late so when you need those extra ingredients and all other markets are closed they’re a life saver !!
Very clean, neat and the workers are friendly! Food is moderate to expensive
A little expensive, but cheaper than Whole Foods across the street. Cashiers aren't the friendlist, but I've never had a long line when checking out.
Good shopping experience. Has everything you need. Much less crowded than the Whole Foods across the street.
