I think of this place as a big bodega with a good meat selection. The prices are similar to a bodega. They have all of the regular stuff at a grocery store along with prepared food, rotisserie chickens, bakery, desserts, etc. I prefer the produce at my local bodega as the stuff here is pretty soaked and not super fresh. Also, make sure to check your receipt because I’ve been overcharged here a few times.
Come here for anything but the produce. I've found tiny dead bugs/eggs in various leafy greens. Last night was my final straw when I found a dead bee hidden in the broccoli. No thanks. Foodtown is now my go-to.
The aisles here are delightfully jammed with food products from all over the world that reflect the various Williamsburg communities. They have an excellent and large selection of spices - especially compared to the other neighborhood grocers - at great prices. Some organic produce, all lovingly organized. CTown is the go-to Williamsburg grocer for Latinx provisions - dried chilies, plantains, etc. - but they have so much more. A surprisingly comprehensive, great grocery shopping experience. However, not the best for meat, prepared food, or deli.
Very clean, selection of meat is very good although portions for family size are small. You can find everything here. Get your pockets ready because it is very pricey. The employees are very cordial and a lot around to help. I rated it a 4 is after a certain amount $$$ they offer you something FREE - 40 bottle of water Krasdale brand, a bag of 20 lb rice or a gallon of oil. Not all of the employees share this information, make sure you ask them. They also deliver.
So you mean to tell me you GLADLY COLLECT our money everyday but we can’t use your restroom, no worries Ctown another supermarket that provides restroom access will be getting my cash from here on out.
Worst, grossest, and most mismanaged grocery store I’ve ever been to in the world; and I’ve been everywhere: manager especially is a horrible and inhospitable human being who should be replaced asap.
A super market with only one cashier closing one person, I mean come on, one cashier??? it's a super market
I have lived in this area for a long time and have seen mice running between the isles and dead rats near their loading dock. Mold in the fresh produce is very common and have seen them selling products that are 2+ months past expiration day like the picture blow taken on march 10th 2021.
Williamsburg the finest establishment all your neccessary items ready to go. Craft beer , organic, etc
This is the worse place to go to. The meat and cold cuts are bad. The place I'm talking about is on Havenmeyer Brooklyn, New York 11211
