You must visit this park it is a wonderful little get away from a hard week. Pack a lunch bring the blanket, wine and cheese. Check out the schedule of events, there is always community family event going on to enjoy. Like CapFeast House Festival, Memorial Day 2022
There is a beautiful park around Fort Teno. Not much to see but the tower. There are signs posted all over it "no trespassing " so you can't get close to it. Beware they don't have guard dogs. They have guard ! Lol
LOVED the park, a little hilly and the pay parking was ridiculous $5 for 2hrs. There was a HOUSE MUSIC FESTIVAL in the park for the day. It was great. Good music, great people an all around great event
This is the perfect place to go for a walk, outdoor show, or picnic in NW DC. The grounds are maintained well and there's plenty of room to accommodate lots of people. It's not heavily forested which might sound like a downside for a park, but its sense of expansiveness -- which is only accented on a gorgeous day -- gives Fort Reno something special. Adding to the uniqueness is the architecture of the towers and the graffiti murals.
Wide open space with a baseball diamond, batting cage, two tennis courts, space for fútbol and/or football. Only street parking. Of all the parks I've reviewed so far this is the first that did not appear to have portable restrooms. So be prepared...
Add Fort Reno Hill to your bucket list — the highest natural point in DC!
Lovely day. Out exploring and made it a point to visit the highest altitude in DC. Stopped for ice water out of a new sippee made just for me then hiked onward
Beautiful northwest DC neighborhood park. Full of trees, a baseball field, a small stage, and a path that goes through it. Good place to lounge in the sun, under a tree, catch a sunset, or star gaze.
Great place to relax, read, or even listen to a concert. Wish the grass had been cut, but that may be asking too much. Other than that, it is great place to enjoy on a beautiful sunny day.
Great big open space, but no restroom..., and parking ticket machines out of order...
