Forum Dental - Kansas City

Went in today to see what I needed to do to get a crown replaced. Forum dental did the original work and the crown lasted 1 1/2 years before coming off. Unfortunately I was eating dinner and didn't realize it was gone until it was too late. Took a long lunch to drive out to Edwardsville even though I no longer work out there and am in Missouri now because previously, they had been pretty good. Was told that it was likely my fault that I grinded my teeth at night that the crown came off. They wouldn't assist with the costs at all. They even said my insurance would not apply since it hasn't been 5 years since I got the crown. Then they said I had to pay my entire balance first. I had just paid them $1,000 the week before. Not to mention I called them 4 times in 2017 to get my balance and they said they were still waiting on the insurance company. It took them 8 months to finally send me my bill which then immediately showed I was 90 day's past due. Most people don't just have $1,800.00 to drop on one bill. I thought $1,000 was at least something, but they didn't care to make any exceptions and correct a crown that should have lasted longer than a year and a half. Not to mention I specifically opened up the Care Credit card over a year ago just to use the service with forum dental. I never used the card ever because they didn't bill me. The card finally expired because I had never used it and I had to open another one. Very disappointed that they wouldn't work with me. They obviously don't care about keeping business. I had been a long time patient of theirs but I guess they can just follow suite with all the other health insurance companies that take advantage of us. Not even sure why we pay for dental insurance. None of the companies cover much and dental offices offer better rates to those who don't have insurance anyways. Anyhow, won't be wasting my lunch breaks and gas money to drive to that place anymore. Very sad. I liked it there. Surprised at how rude the office lady was as well. The other one felt bad and tried to apologize. At least she has some customer service skills.

I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience! I'm always in right when my appointment is supposed to be and never left waiting for too long. Everyone that works here are so kind and professional too!

If you want a dentist you can rely on and is always looking out for your best interest, Forum dental is the place to go. Excellent dentists and staff

I would highly recommend Dr Williamson, he will make you feel at ease. The ladies at the front desk are all amazing as well. Dr Williamson explained my whole procedure as he was doing it and put me at ease. All of my children get their teeth cleaned here as well and everyone does so well with them. Really great place to get dental work done.
