Freedom 10 Minute Oil Change & Car Wash

They were too busy trying to find something wrong with my car rather than doing my oil change. I was the only person they were servicing and the "10 minute oil change" took over 30. They " recommended" I have my transmission flushed, My car is at 51,000, I had it flushed at 45,000 miles...so I should have another 40,000 miles before I need my transmission flushed...these guys are trying to scam people. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Reply to the owner: I can 100% assure you that counting from the moment my wife and I were seated in your waiting room, it was far more than the 13 minutes expressed on the ticket. If you believe me to be unhonest or unable to read time, I would ask that you check the tape of my visit from that day. Furthermore, your servicing member wrote down that I needed new tires, and I believe also brake pads-I'm sure you can check the ticket for that, However what stands out so heavily to me is that they verbally recommended that I should have my transmission fluid flushed-something I had recently done. Now, I find this apparent attempt at trying to squeeze extra money out of me, by pushing for uneeded services, is worthy of one star. I have no personal vendetta against you or your business, I just simply will not be returning and wish you luck.

We just moved back to Lafayette after four years being away. I was excited about the prospect for several reasons, one of them being the opportunity to, once again, use Freedom. The company provides a quality product, excellent standard of service and really cares about its customers. I know other car wash and oil change places exist in Lafayette, but Freedom is the only one that will get my business.

Brought my car in for a wash and got the "Shine package" and was not pleased in the slightest bit. I cannot speak for the oil service but the carwash is not worth the money. I would suggest the $5 wash if all you need is to knock off a little dirt.

This place could really use a pre wash station, I selected the premium wash and still came through with bugs on my grill, my windshield, and tailgate. Understanding these quick washes are designed to be auto detailing shops so I really don't count that against them. The Vacuum Center was underpowered but they did get the job done with a little extra elbow grease. To round it off they didn't have a place to clean your floor mates, some how that seems like a detail that just come standard everywhere else I've been. All I know if you're looking to keep the dust and pollen off your vehicle I suppose it's not so bad at doing that.
