This isn’t the first time I’ve been to Friedman’s, but it is my first for this location! If you’re looking for a cozier, less busy location, then this is the one for you. I was able to catch the tail end of their happy hour deal, which gave you all their cocktails for $10! The Spring Fever was a nice, fruity drink that me and my friend enjoyed. I got the Meatloaf & Mash, and wow. It was a hearty, good meal. The meat was moist, and the sauce paired so well with the dish. The string beans were also surprisingly tasty and garlicky, and I’m usually a string bean hater! Definitely recommend this dish to anyone who comes! My friend had the 3 Piece Chicken with fries on the side, and from the few pieces I stole, they were also delicious! All in all, it was a great meal, and Friedman’s has great comfort food as usual!
Super easy breakfast spot.. something for everyone on the menu and also a few different takes on the classics.. great for out of town guests! They dont take bookings and there was lots of tables available on a Saturday morning. Service was a tad slow but food was lush - star of the show was definitely the chicken waffles and the lemon ricotta pancakes!
The atmosphere was great! I loved the energy and vibe and the food… AMAZING! I ordered the Chilaquiles and it was the best in the USA HANDS DOWN! Amazing for first time comers to NY and essential for breakfast. Literal 100 out of 10 NO DOUBT.Food: 5/5
Really good all day brunch place, several great options in the menu. Amounts are quite generous. We enjoyed it very much, specially the amazing pastrami sandwich. The ny cheesecake wasn’t the best but was good.Food: 5/5
Great restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Very busy and loud though but otherwise it was nice. It would be good if it wasn't raining and we could have sat outside but felt very good in the service was kind. The food was great. Better than I expected. The menu though made it look like it was average. Would love to see a fancier world design menu
Best pancakes and French toast tasted in New York. It is strongly suggested for a breakfast or brunch, you can find it located in several places around New York. Follow us for other suggestions on Instagram Hungry_travelers Armando & Caterina
Fully gluten-free restaurant. My wife is gluten intolerant-so this was a huge treat for her. She hasnt had fish and chips in years. It's great. The staff is very friendly too. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
Very good sandwiches. We ordered a Breakfast burrito and Reuben. I got Mac'n'Cheese. When I saw ingredients - fantini cheese and Parmesan - the were no doubts. Service was quite slow because the restaurant was full.Food: 5/5
We went there on a Saturday night, and they were packed. We did not have a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us. The brussel sprouts were delicious. My entire meal was delicious. They were out of Malbec, but they had a California cab that was magnificent. Vegetarian options: It looks like the chefs can be very accommodating Wheelchair accessibility: Roll on in.
Dining on my own is never easy, but Friedmans staff made my experience warm and welcoming. Indeed, all the floor staff show exceptional manners and graciousness. The bar man with his lovely smile and unobtrusive nature made my experience very pleasant. The tea top-up was most welcome as I braved the harsh West New York wind and chilling temps. The door ladies could be a little sharper and more gracious, after all first and last impressions count. Thank you. Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free options
