Frisch's Big Boy

This place was okay. The staff was okay and we were able to get in pretty quickly. The food was decent and it felt us up where we we needed to. However this place wasn't anything too spectacular. It is just like other chain restaurants.

Fresh all-you-can-eat food bar. Good selection. Salad was very fresh. Service is excellent!

Waitress I ended up with really seemed like she was running roughshod over the other waitresses. She was very good at blaming other waitresses she said were 'helping' her, for -her- own short comings. Like ranch instead of blue cheese. She told the other one ranch. Guess she figured she wasn't heard. I hate ranch. Period. The food was.....ok. Never had heard of wheat texas toast, but I have now. Lol, don't like wheat bread. Patty melt bread is usually buttered or oiled and grilled. This bread was just grilled, edges rock hard. They are also usually juicy. This one super dry. But hey, at least I got ......? something...? to eat. They got a 3 star cause once I finally picked and wiped away the yucky ranch dressing, the fried pickles were good. But, nope, won't go back again, even for fried pickles.

Went here with a very large party. Waitress was on top of things. Excellent service. I had the breakfast bar. It was always full and hot.

Enjoyed myself . Not so bad later in the evening when nothing else is serving food. I actually liked it.
