Want a Runaround?  If not, steer clear of Gameroom Concepts.

We ordered a shuffleboard table in October.  The salesperson called Olhausen and confirmed that it would be ready before Thanksgiving.  It wasn't.  During this time communication was very poor.  No one would follow up as they PROMISED they would.  We were passed between salespeople like a ping pong ball.  The only way we could talk to anyone was to physically go into the store.  The owner is rarely there, and they pushed all the blame on the manufacturer.  Our table was finally delivered days before Christmas.  It wasn't right.  The logo we had agreed upon was wrong, the surface wasn't smooth, and the installers didn't level it out right and knowingly left it that way, telling us it needed a couple weeks to settle.  Immediately I got ahold of a different salesperson who took a message and promised I would get a call back, no such luck.  I went to the store, talked with the salesperson who looked at the computer and found our order to indeed be wrong. He said he ordered another top and it would be in in 2-3 weeks.  As we guessed, it didn't and we were faced with trying to get ahold of the salesperson or owner.  After not getting a returned call, we decided we just needed to deal with Justin, the owner.  At this time he was supposedly out sick for over 2 weeks. After not getting a returned call, we went to the store and talked to Justin, who played the blame game.  He said an order to replace our table top had not been placed and the salesperson who was responsible for that had been fired.  He said he was ordering the replacement and it would be in in about 3 weeks.  A month went by and we called with no response.  We cancelled the last payment on our c.c. and Justin called once, after over a month since the charge had been disputed, and left a message wanting to pick up the table, not to make it right.  We returned the call and left a message.  Still waiting to hear back.  Oh, and they never gave us the table cover they promised us because it was late to start with.

In short, DO NOT buy anything from G.R.C.  They have terrible communication, faulty products & set up, they over promise and under deliver.  They cannot be trusted.

Last June, I purchased a ping pong table from Gameroom Concepts.  The table cost more than I had hoped to pay, but I was assured it was a quality table.  The delivery charge was a little more than I expected, but the table was delivered and set up to my satisfaction.  Despite my wife's assurance that it would be used a lot, I believe it was played on maybe three times in the four months that followed.
     In November, I took leave of my senses and decided to purchase a shuffleboard table and a pool table.  I shopped at Gameroom Concepts and one of its competitors that seemed to have a going out of business sale every two years.  The competitor used high pressure sales tactics that turned me off.  I also concluded that Gameroom Concepts sold a better product.
      When I began negotiating with Justin for a package deal on the table and the pool table, I was pleasantly surprised that he was willing to take back the ping pong table he had sold me at the same price I had paid, less the delivery charge, and credit the price against the price of the shuffleboard table and pool table.  In further discussion with Justin, I learned that I could purchase a ping pong table that could be placed on top of the pool table, thus satisfying my wife's desire to have that opportunity in addition to the pool table.
      I felt Justin's pricing was much more reasonable than that offered by his competitor for a lesser product, so we signed the deal.  The tables were delivered within a reasonable time given the holiday season, and the guys set everything up and were very professional.  I found the wax that had been sent with the shuffleboard table was very fast- -#1.  When I called Justin, he said they should have given me a higher number.  When I went to his store, he gave me a #5 canister at no charge.  It also turned out that the pool table cover was not the correct size, so Justin promptly took the old one back and gave me a new cover that was the correct size.
      About a month after taking delivery, I asked Justin to send the guys out to adjust the climate adjusters on the table since it had been in place long enough to have adjusted to the interior climate. I also needed them to move the break spot on the pool table so that people were not breaking toward a window.  I fully expected to pay for this, but Justin said there would be no charge.  Again, the guys came out and adjusted the shuffleboard climatic adjusters.  While doing so, they noticed that the bolts on the center adjusters were stripped.  They told me that they would order replacements and let me know when they would be out to install them.
      A few days ago, I bought the abacus scoring beads from Gameroom Concepts at a price that was less than I would have paid on line.  When I couldn't determine from on line searches where those scoring devices should be attached, I called Gameroom Concepts and Justin's associate, Chad, was most helpful in suggesting the appropriate places to attach them.
     In short, any problems I have had with the shuffleboard table were the fault of the manufacturer, not Gameroom Concepts.  Justin and his associates have been most helpful and I highly recommend that any prospective purchaser of a shuffleboard table, pool table, ping pong table or other home games check out Gameroom Concepts before making a purchase.  Gameroom Concepts also has some incredible neon signage to complement your game room.

Tim tried to find our part for several hours and was absolutely professional turns out the owner Justin left him with no information on where he put it. The management has a massive communication issue. Lost more than one sale. I had cash to buy a pair of machines and if they can't get a basic part right how bad are they going to screw me on the machines.

Since we moved a little over 2 years ago, a rec room for us as well as our Grandson was something that we wanted to create.  We visited all the area retailers that sold what we wanted but settled on Gameroom Concepts.  We have visited Gameroom Concepts several times now and Justin and Chad both have been extremely helpful to us.  I find their costs very competitive and their customer service impeccable!  Little by little we are getting what we wanted and we will for sure finish up this task with Gameroom Concepts!  No better place to go!
