I go there all the time to get games with my friends, but recently the employees have been rude. I go in there to buy Stardew Valley (which is rated T) and the guy asks me for my ID. Which doesn’t make any sense because the game is rated T not M. Overall I think the store is great, but the employees are not.

This isn’t even the closest GameStop to my house, but we went there frequently because of the fantastic employees. Not sure what happened, but a few months ago, they hired a new crew, and well, they just aren’t great. No one seems happy, they always seem rushed, and the ones I have dealt with, act like it’s an unwanted chore to help you. I’ve been there multiple times since the change, and I feel I have to mention the guy that wears the vest. He’s walked away from me, inturupted other employees when they are trying to help me, seems very unprofessional, and like a know it all. Another person, the lady with glasses, she basically refuses to help people. One register open, 10 people in line, and she will keep her back turned to the customers, focusing on a task behind the counter. That’s not great customer service. I highly recommend that if you need to head to GameStop, avoid this one.

My boyfriend likes to collect different cases of games and at this location there was Rouge Legacy, priced very reasonably. We went to go buy the game and he was asked for his ID. This game is Rated E10, implying he looks younger than 10. Anyhow, he goes to pull out his ID and realizes he left his wallet at home. So I just decide to buy it and I'm still asked for my ID in the moment and the guy who was ringing us up said that I couldn't purchase it because he knew I was going to give it to my boyfriend, although both of us are very clearly over the age of 10. I come back an hour or two later, without my boyfriend, and grab the same game (thankfully it was still there). I go up to the counter to pay, is not asked for my ID, and the same man at the counter says they don't have the actual disk, but only have the display case. Worst experience I've ever had at a gamestop. Every other location and employee I've had help me was immensely nice, easy, and not a waste of my time.
