Best indoor range in northern Illinois! Members of my family have bought firearms from GAT and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. They have a big inventory of firearms and always seem to have what we are looking for in stock. The shooting range is clean, has good lighting and well ventilated. They also offer a big selection of rental guns. The only complaint I really have is the lack of a permanent range officer in every range. They have security cameras in every range and a floating range officer that periodically comes in and checks on everyone. When I shoot here I always have a buddy with me that monitors everything going on while I'm shooting then we will switch roles when he's shooting. Just for the piece of mind that the guys in the stall next you don't have a gun pointed at you. Other than that its a great place to shoot and will continue to shoot here.

Gun prices are pretty good. Knowledgeable and friendly staff (Chuck was awesome). I've been to some of the other shops in the area and the people here are hands down the best. Not a single "John Wayne" type of attitude. The range is well ventilated and clean. This is about a 30 minute drive from my house and I will continue to come here over the range closer to my house (Lombard area - avoid it at all costs).

Went there the other day. Great experience! Lots to choose from. Had a wonderful talk with Joe in new sales and Gary in used sales. Lots of great and important information. Very nice to see a place not pushy to sell you anything unless you are ready ! Definitely will be back here to buy my stuff. Thanks guys.

1 star for selection **as in the only reason you get a single star is because of your large selection**. If you believe that MSRP is the ideal price for a gun, then this is the place. The range is nice, but if you're there with a friend, you and the friend pay a range fee even if you're on the same range. It's a rip off. Shop here for a gun and buy it online. Small shops are supposed to offer more service for more money, this place offers nothing but selection.

The first time I walked in to just get another opinion on a firearm I was considering (was not looking to actually purchase yet) . Dan approached us with so much knowledge and such a friendly attitude. He made sure we knew there was a different gun same style and caliber same price coming out in the next week or so. I was blown away by the customer service I received the first time walking in I decided to purchase a firearm. Definitely recommend to a friend. 5 star to Dan
