Gem Meat Packing Co

My family has dealt with Gem Pack for 50 years that I know of. I have never been unhappy with anything I have purchased here. The bacon is the best I've tasted, whether from a store or a packing house. The minced ham (bologna is the "proper" name) beats everything on the market, and the hard casing franks are the absolute best for campfire cookery. When the skin pops & cracks, you know it's hot all the way through, and the taste is beyond description! They used to make & sell brick chili, but no longer offer it. Too bad. I'm sure you will be pleased with everything you buy from Gem. They've never let me down.

Called looking for Lard product that had not been Hydrogenated. Found that he carries a quality Lard product with out undesirable preservatives etc. in it by the 4 or 40 lb. box. The gentleman that I spoke with (the owner) was very polite and helpful. I look forward to doing business with him. He reported his business hours as 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
