Just moved here from TX and needed to find a great butcher in Boise ... done some research and visited Jess at MR ... he sliced a couple of ribeyes for me that could almost be cut with a fork. I will definitely be going back. Thanks Jess!

I've been going to this butcher shop for years to get premium cut beef for special grilling. The beef is marbled to perfection, cut exactly the way you wanted it, and the price is very fair for the exceptional quality, and most important here, is the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nothing has changed through the 30+ years that I've gone to this "old school" butcher shop for custom meat cuts, and professional staff. Awesome experience for every one. Curt & Patty

Love this butcher. Great price, professional cuts and packaging and most importantly, outstanding quality with slabs of variety! Stop in, even if it's for two pork chops, a steak or just a pound of bacon, you will leave happy.

Purchased some liver there, got home and opened it and it was putrid and green, stunk up my whole house. I am familiar with liver and know what it is and isn't supposed to look and smell like. Doesn't get a 1 star because the other product I bought was fine.
