Absolutely love this place!! We went to George’s Bar on a Pedal Pub tour and liked it so much we go see George, Steve and Dale whenever we’re in Milwaukee!

We really loved George and the hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. What earned a one-star was that I encountered trouble with the ATM inside the bar. I tried to withdraw $100 and the machine showed an error. Things happen but when I tried to speak with the bartender she was very dismissive and just stated that "it happened to me a couple times". I explained to her that the charge was showing pending on my bank account and she just walked away. While the ATM showed I attempted to retrieve $100 it did show that zero was dispensed. The bartender wasn't able to help me with any information at the time and I needed to get back to the pedal tavern. I didn't get my money but days later the pending charge has now debited my account. Annoyed to say the least and I have tried to call back for ATM contact information but keep getting voicemail. EDIT: So George's did absolutely NOTHING to help fix this. They wouldn't return my calls and so I had to go there to get the information for the ATM company. I was able to get into the bar and get the number off of the machine. Called the company and apparently, if the phone rings and is answered at George's, it interrupts the line to the ATM as it is still dial-up. This is what I suspected but George's won't be a stop on my itinerary in the future. I did get my money refunded after being assertive with the game company (ATM owner) as they expected me to wait until the next planned machine balance. The finally got it done in one day, but too late to impress me.

Don't know what to say. Definitely interesting and worth going to once, but I won't be returning. Not really a place for the young professional crowd, but it was fun to visit this little anachronism for a bit.

How many times do have the pleasure of meeting the main man. Not only created the atmosphere and vibe but also made an everlasting memory. Will never forget and will come again. Thank you George and Milly.
