If I could turn it to 11 stars I would. I love Chicos bar! Good food and great staff. Close to the Airport. Great fish fry. You will wait for it but it's worth your time. Good burgers and the broccoli bites are AWESOME!

Possibly the best fish fry we've had. The wait was much longer than we are used to, but I think we got there a bit to late also. The fish was incredible and the staff are very friendly! We will DEFINITELY go back! Highly recommend!!

The unassuming Villa Tap may not look like much from the outside, but it serves up quality bar food at extremely reasonable prices. The servers are friendly to regulars and to newcomers alike. I enjoyed that the bar plays the blues as background music instead of oldies or top 40. The Villa is well known for its Friday night fish fry and the waits for a table can exceed an hour at times. The lunch version, two pieces of fried cod, slaw, fries and a roll, can be had for a mere $8.50 and no wait.

We went for the Friday Fish Fry and luckily were prepared to wait because the placed was packed and there is limited seating. Luckily they have a decent selection of beers on tap (including Potosi's Snake Hollow, which is a favorite of mine) and the drinks are fairly priced. The fish was AMAZING. Large portions at about $15 a plate of perch, walleye, cod, and shrimp. The breading was crispy and had great flavor. Definitely worth the wait. For the first timers: arrive early (before 5) or be prepared to wait an hour. Once you arrive, write your name on the poster board on the back wall and wait for your name to be called.

What Chico puts into the batter is a mystery. But this little gem is the genuine article. Delicious selection of fish, prepared perfectly. And it is no secret - be prepared to wait for 1 to 2 hours for a table.
