Crystal Corner Bar

The Crystal Corner is something of a mainstay in the Willy Street area. Recognizable at a distance by it's glass block windows illuminated with neon lights, it's not the kind of place to go for the latest tap release, but more suited to those who enjoy a reasonable priced beer served without pretense. You can find information about their upcoming events on their endearingly old-school website that, despite looking like it's straight out of the 90s, is regularly updated.

Definitely on the corner. Really neat looking bar. Bartenders have positive attitudes. Good tap beers, decently generous cocktails. Darts, pool, tv's, clean bathrooms. Short distance from a lot of other great places.

You've gotta love the completely wrap around original Miller Brewing formica bar. A few years back the place had a problem with a low end clientele, they seem to have been run out with a more friendly, less needle track crowd taking their place. I love dive bars and I love that the Crystal is back on the map. It was a regular haunt of mine in the late 80's and it's once again a safe, fun place to tip a few back and throw some darts.

Cash only. Live bands on some Tuesdays. A pretty good place to get a few strong drinks and play some pool.

Quiet, crazy, eclectic corner bar. "Cheers" kinda bar. Everyone is welcome and friendly. We stop in every time we are in town.
