I have been a loyal resident of georgetown since July of 2005. I have had a 5 star experience that is until recently. At the end of May I had some new neighbors move next door to me. They are a group of girls I’d say in their early 20’s. The girls are very loud especially during quiet hours. They are either playing loud music, hammering or punching the walls, throwing things and just basically acting in a drunkin rage. I have even called the police once per advice from management. I can’t even sleep at night because of my neighbors. In my oppinion management is just giving these neighbors a slap on the rist and not really helping me resolve this once and for all so I can update this review to a 5 star experience. I am a very good tenant, have always paid rent on time and have never caused any problems so I would expect the same in return. Aside from that management is very friendly and quick to respond. I know there have been comments about the loud hvac systems in the apartments but you have to realize these apartments do not have a basement so in my oppinion I would consider this noise to be normal. I will be most likely moving out when my lease is over do to no peace and quiet which sucks because I really don’t want to move.
Despite not having any available units, Sarah was professional and patient with me as someone interested in the property. She was forthcoming with all information about the apartment complex, even with things I didn't think to ask. Where other managers may have been terse during a meeting when they knew they had nothing to sell, Sarah's attitude has kept me interested in Georgetown even knowing they have no availability! I will keep my eye on this Clintonville community in the future as I continue my search for housing.
Been Here for about 2 Years now, and I haven't really had any major problems. Location is pretty stellar, almost every place I would need to go is pretty much a 5 or 10 min walk away Grocery Stores, Entertainment, Fast Food joints, bars, Bus Lines, etc. The Maintenance guys are great, and the office staff have always been helpful and understanding. Rent is a tad bit on the pricy side, but the peace of mind I get from living here offsets it a tiny bit lol. I Highly recommend Georgetown Apartments.
The apartments are lovely and well maintained. Management always responds quickly and efficiently to any concerns. The location is very convenient to pretty much everywhere in the city with easy access to 315, 71, and 270. I have lived at Georgetown for almost 6 years and could not be happier.
We are going on our second year of living here. It is very quiet despite being near High St. We feel very safe. Unlike previous apartments we have lived, the maintenance folks are amazing. They are very good at their job and yet personable. Any request has been addressed in a timely manner. Putting in maintenance requests is easy. The office staff is just as caring. They are helpful and care a great deal about the community. They promptly reply to emails and are very friendly on the phone. You feel that they care and want to help with any questions or concerns you may have at the time. The office also works to communicate often and clearly with the residents with general reminders about care of units, what events may be happening here, safety and crime, and anything that may impact your experience here. Laundry facilities are kept clean and quiet. The machines are maintained by an outside vendor that so far has done a good job keeping them up and running. compared to laundromats I have used in the past the price is comparable which is appreciated. The landscaping is maintained diligently and they have done a good job with snow removal. I appreciate that you can add to the landscaping in a manner giving your unit more personality. There are 3 dog waste receptacles that are emptied frequently and they are great about making sure you have what you need to clean up after your pet and those spaces are also nicely maintained. Residents vary in age and I have met many residents that have lived here for over 10-20+ years. That alone says something about a place. The utilities are very reasonable. It is near the bus line and many stores. I enjoy walking to the grocery. No matter which direction you go walking down High St you will come across many little shops under a mile radius. I enjoy exploring different places. We have residents on either side of us and it is the quietest I have experienced anywhere. If I had one suggestion it would be to have a second recycling bin. Not everyone breaks down their boxes and it can fill up a couple days before it is emptied. That is a good thing though because so many residents consistently recycle in general. I was thrilled to see that a recycling bin was available when we move here. You will sometimes hear sirens of emergency vehicles from High St or Morse Rd but it is not constant.
I really love this place and wish I could stay, but it's just not affordable for a single person who has to have a 2 bedroom for my child. Laundry is great, units are pretty small, but clean. Street is really quite, love the brick, dog friendly, and ample parking. Pool is clean and grounds are beautiful. I would give this place a 5 if their prices weren't so outrageous.
I've lived here for about 6 months now and I love it. You can't beat the location. I work downtown and I can catch either 315 or 71, depending on the traffic that day. Kroger, Target, Petco if you have a pet, and multiple restaurants are right there. I live in a 3 bedroom and there is plenty of space for my roommates and myself. The kitchen is a little tight, but it works. All of our maintenance requests non-emergency were dealt with quickly. The grounds are kept very well, especially when it snows. They snowblow the sidewalks and plow the parking lots. I never have trouble finding parking and there are multiple places for visitors to park. The heater is pretty loud when it starts, but we got used to that pretty quick. We added pets after a few months and they were very easy to work with. There are multiple trash bins for pet waste and they provide bags. The small dog park is nice to let your dog roam. The people that I have talked to are very nice and love to chat about their dogs. Overall, it's a nice place to be and would definitely recommend it.
Lived here for 4 years, and it was easily the best property we lived at. The units are clean, and well maintained, as are the grounds. The staff are all very easy to work with and any maintenance requests were handled in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this property.
I have just finished my second year at Georgetown and am resigning on for a third year. The office staff is very personable and extremely easy to get a hold of. Service requests non-emergency ones do take a little patience, but that is only due to the fact that there are a lot of projects going on at any given moment and the maintenance staff could use a couple more people . Other than that, I can't say I have ever had a complaint. Everybody keeps to themselves, but they do organize community events for the residents if you are the kind of person who likes that kind of thing. We, in our two years here, have only had one instance where a neighbor was playing music excessively loud, but that was nearly a year ago and there has yet to be another incident. Parking is free. I, personally, have never used either of the on-site laundry facilities because my unit has washer and dryer hook-ups, but it's nice to know that they're there if I ever need them
Me and my mom and my sister lived here for 10 years....i enjoyed the living space..very spacious and well kept....sparkling huge out door pool were they host games contest....drawing contest...and pizza party's and so much more....man.good times. Then you have the luxery of the huge out door shopping center across the street you have krogers in door market and many..many more stores...best place to live if you have kids or not....no apartment's more better then this i give them 200 stars..but they only go up to five...so go move in your new home and you will not regret living in your dream home!!!
