I recently purchased a German vehicle and I was in the market for a mechanic that specialized in German vehicles. Without thoroughly researching reviews my mistake, I found German Auto Service. Who advertised a $65 oil change online, but "because Biden is in office oil prices are up" which means they forgot how to update their Google advertising that can be updated in real time within 3 minutes. Unfortunately their lazy, and intentional negligence now results in a $98 surprise for the customer, but only after they've scheduled the appointment and have had their car serviced. Deceptive advertising is no way to start a lasting business relationship which is what I was looking to do with my new car. There is no reason they could not have informed me of the new price beforehand and really no excuse for them to not have updated or removed the ad from their Google advertising account. They just lost my business for the life of my new car over $33. A MONTH LATER AND THE "OUTDATED" AD THAT THEY WOULD NOT HONOR IS STILL UP. SAFE TO CALL THEM LAIRS AT THIS POINT.
So basically everyone here seemed genuine and awesome, but the way they price things does not line up. I was going to pay full price when I first walked in and the owner of the store said I should just pay a deposit. I first believed I was going to pay 4.5k for new injectors and tanner told me they would do oil sensor on them since I was already going to pay so much, which I thought was great, I was super thrilled to let them work on my car. They ended up having my 335i for about a week and when they called me to tell me it was ready, I come in and I end up paying a grand total of 5.2k. 700 more then I expected. I saw a charge for the sensor, an oil change, and an ecu repair? Cool people but they robbed me blind and I don’t appreciate it. I paid what I owed and will not be getting service here again. Good people though.
I had an absolutely terrible experience here. I respectfully gave them a chance to make it right and after telling me they would contact me and make it right, they never got back to me or refunded me for anything. I paid over $1K for services I didn't request or need and my main issue was never resolved. To top it off their work on my vehicle included ZIP TIES....When I called the first time and explained this they seemed embarrassed and shocked and told me they would make it right. They never did. The original issue with my car was never fixed even though I paid over $1k, $700 of which was labor. $700 to zip tie something. Imagine that. I am understanding and always give someone a chance to make it right. They promised to do so and then never got back to me. Unfortunate way to run a business. Do not go here if you care about your vehicle and your wallet.
Was buying a car at certified import auto sales and they found a problem with the car. They took it to the service center and fixed it within the amount of time we had before we had to head home to Washington. Very happy with their work.
Extremely rude service on the phone, called for a quote on labor costs and the mechanic said he does not do work on cars if they are not the ones to purchase the parts, which would be understandable if explained, however it was his undermining tone and the fact that he hung up on me mid conversation that was very offensive and extremely poor in service.
They diagnosed and fixed front struts on my E350 after another shop FUBAR'ed the original job.
I always have an excellent experience here. Very good customer service and reasonable prices. I own a 2008 MBZ C 300.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
My experience with German Auto Service and Sales was awesome!!! From the very start of my conversations with Tanner, he made us feel like we were valued customers. They were put under stress when our original mechanic could not perform the needed repairs on my daughter's 2011 328i BMW. After they made several calls around the Phoenix area and with good references, they picked German Auto to take the car to. German Auto picked up my daughter's car which was about 20 miles away from their location and started looking at the repairs the same day. Every step of the process Tanner was in communication with me letting us know what was going on and what was required to do the repairs. Although the estimate to repair the car was higher than my original mechanic's estimate, Tanner explained in great detail why the extra cost. I was so impressed by his knowledge and this service, I added additional services to the vehicle's repair list. I was never pressured to do any other repairs to the vehicle but was informed that they will be needed at some point down the road. This situation could have ended badly but it was not the case. After we picked up the car and driving home, I told my daughter she has found a great place to use for repairs on her car!!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND German Auto for your next car repair company!!! Thank you for turning this experience into a positive one for us!! You have gained a new customer for as long as my daughter owns her BMW and all future vehicles.
Im giving them a 4 star right now, this will be my 3rd visit with German Auto and Tanner has looked out for me so.... I can't complain about the service there. My e90 is a lemon so any of the errors was definitely not the fault of mine or German Autos, the e90 is there for a complete engine swap so this should put a stop to future issues and its going to have a 2yr warranty. I'm nervous about the final bill as I'm not rich I had to lean on the help of Hardship funding through my job which took care of the deposit for the motor. But all in all German Auto is a great shop in my book, I recommend seeing Tanner but everybody there Ive met has been friendly!!!!
The place for Bimmer service - this teams knowledge base is second to none. I have been very satisfied with their work on everything from simple maintenance to the performance upgrades Jim and Brian have done, while Tanner does an excellent job of communicating the timeline, scope of work and answering my many questions.
