I checked the reviews and people said the sushi was good. Not only did they forget one of our Spicy Crab roll orders, but it was the worst I’ve ever tasted. The seaweed was so gummy I couldn’t chew, let alone swallow it! Meijer’s sushi is 10x better than this! Beware….Food: 1/5
It was a bit pricey for certain things. Also it was quite lack luster, it’s definitely not the best Asian food I’ve had. But aside from that the service was good and the food came out quick and the employees are helpful. All the food comes in to go containers even if you dine in. Overall I don’t think the food we got was exactly worth what we paid for but, it appears to be clean in the restaurant. So if you would like this as a quick bite/a lunch break cool. But I’d never really go out of my way to eat here.
I am obsessed with their Sushi. We always get the spicy crab rolls and the rice is always so fresh and soft, crab is stuffed in it and there's never any weird fishy taste its delicious!! Been eating their for a few years now and never had a bad experience or bad food. Its ALWAYS made fresh, always delicious, their yum yum sauce is the best and their Hibachi is perfect too. My whole family including my picky kids love this place. Hopefully they expand their stores in Columbus. There's only one on Morse road right now.
It has been so long since I threw out a food order, I can't remember when I last did. Shu mai was steamed, not fried, and smelled and tasted...off. Sunshine roll was greasy and tasted fishy, ate one piece. Didn't attempt the California roll because it was soggy somehow. The kicker? There is LITERAL MOSS growing out of the side of the soda machine. Had I saw that prior to ordering, I would have immediately left. Save your time and money.
I ordered pickup and the food was so bad. Tempura was open and throughout the bag and everything was coated in grease. The tempura was 60% oil. It was pooling in the top of the miso soup container and soaked halfway up the bag, i thought the soup opened. The miso soup tasted really fishy which might just be personal but no one enjoyed it. They didnt tell me they were out of eel or my other sushi roll at pickup, but instead put what i assume the last of the eel in my sweet potato roll, that was for someone who doesnt eat meat, and again didnt tell me. Tipped too, and no one got to eat tonight. Vegetarian options: Miso tastes like it has fish, and they put eel in a different roll that was for a vegetarian
They water down their yum yum sauce & then they lied to me saying they don’t have vegetable egg rolls just chicken, but I use to get them all the time would drive from out East to just get the egg rolls because no one really has vegetable egg rolls, but never again.Food: 1/5
had to change from 5 to 3, now to a 2, the rolls hardly have anything in them any more, even less now post covid, there is only tuna in the top of the roll pretty much just seaweed and rice with mayo, spicy tuna spicy crab 2 roll special value has diminisshed. used to be nice harty rolls, last few times it very little meat all rice, awesome dumplings tho, best i have found, prices sky rocked since covid as well, 2 roll special up by $2 cost me 16 bucks for a lunch. Still best dumplings in town and i love their spicy mayo.
Quick service although a kid under 10 took my order and rang me up.Food: 5/5
Do not buy the veggie an shrimp tempura. No good. It stays wet inside and doesn't taste good. The shrimp is almost non existent
Only giving three stars because you charged me $1 for two sweet n sour sauces. Seriously? An extra charge when I ordered two egg rolls? Prices for consumers are high enough but you can’t comp the Sweet n Sour? Ridiculous - wouldn’t have tipped online when I ordered had I known.
