I rarely write reviews but I am happy to for Go Sushi. I didn’t know they open at 4pm and was there at 3pm looking to get takeout to go home. Just when I was about to leave disappointed, the owner Derek arrived and welcomed me in even though they were technically closed. I was blown away by how nice him and his wife were. They were extremely kind, accommodating, and their fish is fresh and of quality for an affordable price. The mainly takeout store itself is small, no frills, and family owned. I was so happy to meet the couple, they made my day!
This is my favourite sushi spot. I haven't been in a while since they moved. The sushi is always fresh and the quality is superb. Highly recommend them. Very friendly staf, the sushi is made in front of you which I've always enjoyed. Check them out, you won't regret it, try their spicy tuna crunch. I had the 2 roll lunch special, spicy tuna crunch & salmon avocado and the dancing eel roll. Very delicious.
My FAVORITTTEEE sushi takeout spot! The freshest fish, amazing simple and creative rolls, and great side items too got the miso soup and the scallion pancakes! I don’t know how they make these rolls so crave-worthy!Food: 5/5
Good sushi. Had the sushi sashimi lunch special and the yellowtail jalapeno roll. The fish quality is definitely much better than your average corner sushi place. The fish is quite tender and consistent like you get in a high end sushi restaurant. Not tough and dry like what you get from grocery store sushi. 4/17/22: Had the yellowtail scallion, tuna, salmon maki combo with salad. Pretty good if you're in the mood for a basic sushi.
I was somewhat skeptical about this sushi place as it looks somewhat shady. However, since it was so close to where I live and I had a sudden crave of sushi so I decided to just give it a shot. To my surprise, the food was amazing and cheap. The sashimi tasted sweet and fresh!
As others have noted, the fish here is extremely fresh, tasty, and very reasonably priced. I attached a picture of the Tricolor Sashimi Lunch, which came out to about $18 including tax. I also have gotten the Tricolor Sushi Lunch as well. Echoing other reviews, I also want to add that the sushi rice-to-fish ratio is really good or at least the way I like it where there is a lot of fish balanced by just the right amount of rice. The nature of the restaurant is takeout/delivery, as exemplified by its literal hole-in-the-wall location, but as a result I think that also means the restaurant is able to focus more the quality of its food. So yum!
Great and fresh sushi! Ordered the sushi and sashimi combo with extra speciality rolls, did not disappoint! Highly recommend ordering from here.
Amazing sashimi so fresh and tasty. Even the miso soup was delicious. Delivery was great, call directly it’s way easier.
